Wow, that's pretty bad. Yet people still keep buying Sony products

I'm sorry you feel that way, clown. It's been a while since I've seen that amount of deflection and evasion from someone. But let's pretend your claims (and those in the X post) are accurate. It's still a zero issue. They have the digital game you need Internet to download it. You're acting like people who buy digitally don't have any means to access the internet.
Look at all of the comments on X and elsewhere. Majority are claiming bs on this. And crying? Never happened. I pointed out facts of the situation and you did nothing but deflect and make a lame "crying" comment because you had no intelligent rebuttal to offer. Blocked. Moron.
The real funny part is that those "bugs", never work in the opposite direction, like allowing the users to get "non free" digital game downloads without paying. That specific parts of the code are the most protected, why would that be?It's a glitch/bug occurring only for some people. None of this is happening on any digital games I have purchased. Not a single one.
@BlusterBong Laughing with zero rebuttal is what's actually pretty funny. There are already reports of this being an unintended bug. And and as I stated above, this is not occurring on ANY of my PSN purchases new or old. Nor is it happening on my sons PS5, or my son in laws, or my best friends sons. But go on, laugh all you'd like. I'll keep this all in mind when you and your source are proven to be full of it.![]()

That's a bit strange, to say the least.

If it's not a bug, it's still a complete non issue.
You will own nothing and you will be happyWhy is is pretty bad? Are you insinuating that people who buy digitally don't have Internet access? How do you think they buy the game and download it? Are you insinuating that people who buy digitally keep their consoles offline for more than 30 days?If it's not a bug, it's still a complete non issue.
drm free games ftwwwwwwwYou will own nothing and you will be happy
The point is that when you use the terms "retard" or "fake news" (I am not suggesting you used the first), you are automatically putting yourself in theYou screaming conspiracy theories about why it's happening isn't making your case any better. From everything I've seen on several sites most are leaning towards agreeing with me on the matter. Time will tell, but your topic title is not accurate whatsoever. "Sony now requires you to connect online to play your games, period." Period? That's why it's not happening to the majority, and not on PS5, or that it was a PS+ title in the image from X?
Speaking of subscription titles. You conveniently glossed over the part that Game Pass & PS+ games have always required a "check in" after being offline for a specific amount of time.Clown.
category that is not to be taken seriously. Only fascists use the term "fake news" to dismiss stories. It does not matter whether the underlying story is real or not, if you want to be taken seriously by anyone with a brain, do not use the term "fake news."The point is that when you use the terms "retard" or "fake news" (I am not suggesting you used the first), you are automatically putting yourself in thecategory that is not to be taken seriously. After 10 years of usage by only clowns, how do you not know that by now?
And yes, it is the dying Playstation ecosystem. The Switch buried it in the current generation and the Switch 2 vastly outsold all Playstation devices combined over the past 11 months since launch. MSFT has also left Sony in the dust with the PC platform, which Sony is now shooting itself in the foot by abandoning.
shit, i guess i don’t deserve the software i purchased because i live in one of the many places within the united states that has a spotty at best internet connection. you reek of “i literally cannot fathom anyone who exists outside of my current life circumstances”Why is is pretty bad? Um. If the claims are real then all digital purchases are made useless as soon as the servers shut down. That is not a "zero issue". That's a big deal. It's been a while since I've seen that amount of deflection and evasion from someone. But let's pretend your claims (and those in the X post) are accurate. It's still a zero issue. You're the one flailing about here, acting like this is not a big deal and we're all poopy heads for daring to question Big Sony's decisions. Also what happened to that block? This is what toxic male masculinity looks like when a narcissistic fucking asshole like you gets put in a corner. God damn, kid, you're dumb as fuck.

Now that it has been confirmed by Sony that:That alone tells me how clueless you are. And way to jump the gun on reporting fake news. Not sure why the specific Sony hate either because even if this were accurate (which it's not), Xbox has had "check in" requirements for a long time. Both PS+ and Game Pass games have always had a "check in" requirement.
