I wasn't a fan of Tears of the Kingdom and found Echoes of Wisdom to be Tears of the Kingdom in the Link's Awakening remake engine. Echoes of Wisdom wasn't a bad game but it didn't feel like a Zelda game either. Just an alright game I played once and have no reason to play again.

The combat felt a bit clunky but the exploration was fun, not the greatest Zelda game but still a solid 8/10.

i enjoyed the depth to the puzzles and all the different echo options to solve the puzzles within the echoes of wisdom. it was a little redundant towards the end of the game. zelda games are always enjoyable for me. was it the best zelda game ever no. but it wasnt the worst either. and even the worst zelda game to me is alot better than most games.

tears of the kingdom could have been a expansive dlc to botw and done better than being stand along game imo. the story was good but alot of people i know that played it never beat the game because they put so much time in breath of the wild that starting over from scratch it was hard for them to go through all the dungeons and collect everything all over again.

It had a lot of things i liked and loved, but not having a sword makes it not feel like a Zelda game. To be more precise: why are there so much enemies? I often felt like playing it wrong when I just summoned my strongest minion and let it have all the fun whereas I at best threw some rocks at the enemies and sometimes just a bed to sleep/regain health.
