I think he's long gone. Couldn't defend what has been going on for the past while, so he's just laying low hoping it passes. But the shame will last a lifetime.

Just found out a niece of mine broke up with her boyfriend after the last election. She asked him which he voted for, and he said "I hate to admit it, but I voted for trump". She said it was over on the spot. So proud of her. Those people need a scarlet letter branded onto their forehead to identify themselves in the future.

How do you explain the logical coherence where you regularly complain about how people treat you on here but vote for Trump and his antics? Say what you want, no one here as been as bad as Trump. If there are other topics on here which aren't about what the US administration is doing, I'll be more than happy to be proven wrong on any of my opinions.

When it comes to Trump and what has unfolded in this past year, everything is objectively terrible. There is no wiggle room to try and make the supporters feel better about their choice. The only remaining thing for them to do is admit they were wrong, and join the rest of the world in being angry at what has been happening. This isn't about right or wrong, it's about accepting reality.

You say this is a safe-space, but it really isn't. It's a venting room where we can let out our frustrations on how the MAGA Americans have made the world a worse place overall.
