In my opinion, Moonshell isn't ideal for playing videos on 3DS. They'll just play using the DS's resolution of 256x192. If you want high-quality video playback on the 3DS, you should get a homebrew app that can play videos using the 3DS's native resolution of 400x240.
tbh alot of the other programs seem alot more tedious to convert with, and even then my media folder is already converted into the
appropriate format so it'd be kinda pointless to do it all over again, lastly im not very picky when it comes to resolution so there's that

One quick question, it is possible to set NTR Forwarder to put the save file under nds/TwilightMenu/saves instead of a subfolder inside the rom file?

I use 3DS sync to sync the save folder and it is a bit of hassle not having everything there.

Yes. Open "sd:/_nds/ntr_forwarder.ini" and set "SAVE_LOCATION" to "2".

Thanks for the quick responses.
My DSi LL is Japanese, and I want to play games in English (Sonic Rush) by using my flashcard kernel, no nds_bootstrap, would setting SysNAND Region (Misc. settings) to USA let me change the game language? or it is not posible?

Not possible. The only way is to change the region of your DSi by installing either DSi Language Patcher or hiyaCFW.

i was not sure where to ask or say this. i wanna apoligize if this is the wrong place, but the Homebrew App Pokemon Chest, if used on Twilight Menu it only has access to the DSi SD, but if i use it on the DSPico i have access to both SD....the DSis and the Picos.....is there a setting or something like that i need to change in TWLMenu to have both SD or is the cause something different? cause i would prefer to use it on TWLMenu.

You can have TWiLight Menu++ autoboot the DSpico by turning on "Auto-start Slot-1" in TWLMenu++ Settings.
After that, follow these steps for TWLMenu++ to access flashcard contents: https://wiki.ds-homebrew.com/twilightmenu/installing-dsi#if-you-dont-have-an-r4i-ultra

v27.14.0
Includes nds-bootstrap v2.5.0 (GBATemp thread)

What's new?

  • The `Color Mode` setting has been renamed to `Screen Filter`.
  • More screen filters have been added (to `sd:/_nds/colorLut/`)!
    • Inverted
    • [10000K] Aquarium
    • [7500K] Overcast Sky
    • [5500K] Daylight
    • [4200K] Fluorescent
    • [3400K] Halogen
    • [2700K] Incandescent
    • [2300K] Warm Incandescent
    • [1900K] Candle
    • [1200K] Ember
    • (The AGB-001 filter has been removed, as it's more of a color correction LUT.)
    • (Replaced the Grayscale filter, as it's no longer the filter from PicoDriveDS/TWL.)
  • With nds-bootstrap adding support for DS Phat colors (on DSi/3DS consoles), the DS Phat Colors setting is now displayed in the per-game settings menu!
    • Not displayed for Memory Pit users.
  • R4 and Wood UIs: As an attempt to improve scrolling speeds, an LRU cache for headers & banner icons has been added!

Bug fixes

  • Wood UI: Fixed a bug where game titles would display over folders.
  • Wood UI: Fixed the game title listings not being cleared before displaying the AP message.

Known bug

  • When using the warm screen filters (starting at 4200K or lower), white fades will be converted into black fades, as it is not possible to change master brightness colors.
How would someone go about creating a custom LUT/screen filter? Is it like a certain type of multi-point cube lut, 3d, 2d, etc? Is there a specific tool we should be using to generate them?
