He worked 105 hours and got $500

For a grand total of $4.76 an hour (collecting about 20 bottles an hour or a bottle every 3 minutes)

This is actually higher than the minimum wage for wait staff in a lot of the US
I don't understand why they never told us about this on careers day at school

I have my doubts about this. This result would be insanely lucky (or next to some event/festival). Only non-reusable cans and plastic bottles with this logo give 0.25€

Reusable plastic bottles (mostly Coca Cola) give 0.15€ and reusable beer bottles generally 0.08€.

I've found bottles worth several hundred Euros over the years, but not in 42 days. Way too many people are so poor that they are forced to do this in order to eat… and not to buy gaming consoles. They are busy searching the city up and down which makes it unlikely to find something. It literally takes just a few seconds until a collector spots a dropped bottle. Often old people who do not get enough retirement pension rummage through trash cans.

My mom used to collect cans in the US before she was old enough to get social security payments

And here the fee is even worse (5c for cans only, nothing for bottles)

And even then, it was hard to find cans unless you specifically went to sporting event parking lots or other venues after a large event

It was enough for some gas tho so she did it anyway

Jzargo is one of the best characters in Skyrim, between his

- "You... you have? Already? Well, J'zargo is surprised. And pleased! There is real competition here. This is good."

- "J'zargo has designed it to be an excellent flame cloak, with a twist. It is especially potent against the undead, and should burn them to a crisp in no time."

- "Mages in Cyrodiil are all about politics. The Synod and the College of Whispers are too busy guarding secrets to bother to teach. Skyrim was not J'zargo's first choice, but Winterhold is removed from politics, dedicated to study. This is the place for J'zargo to become great."

lines.

Bonus that he speaks about himself in the third person.
