Yes, they're amazing, I have one already for my emerald save file and works perfectly, no issues whatsoeverThey play just as good as authentic carts. Real RTC, real 1M flash saving.

all 6 of the chisflash 1.1 rtc I got from Aliexpress all had the 1616 replaceable holder.I just want to make sure RTC works and the battery is removable without soldering.
Can anyone vouch for one of these? https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005009541374261.html

Thanks @Hunter. I finally got mine. The battery is removable and it works great.all 6 of the chisflash 1.1 rtc I got from Aliexpress all had the 1616 replaceable holder.
Same here. I got a V1.2 first and it's working so well I grabbed a 1.1 for the RTC. No issues so far.Yes, they're amazing, I have one already for my emerald save file and works perfectly, no issues whatsoever
One can always put a sticker or something in between the case and the PCB, I guess... as thin as possible, to avoid extra wear on the pins and the slot.I really just wish I could choose the print in the back, but anyways, can't get everything I guess![]()
Which seller did you get them from? I was thinking of buying from EPICJOY, but I think I prefer getting carts with battery holders, as long as the save retention is reliable.all 6 of the chisflash 1.1 rtc I got from Aliexpress all had the 1616 replaceable holder.

It doesn't have mode-b. No.I know this has been asked before in the thread, but I honestly couldn't tell if the answer was a yes or no so-
Can these carts migrate up to the 4th generation Pokemon games? I'd be interested in using one for emerald specifically, 4th gen compatibility is all I really want and I don't wanna go spending nearly 100 dollars on an EZFlash-OmegaDE lol.

ChisFlash carts don't need modes, they are rewritable, single-rom carts that use a flash memory IC. Other than save compatibility, it should work, as they behave like an original cart.It doesn't have mode-b. No.

you are thinking of the SuperChis, the ChisFlash with RTC is a totally different cartridgeIt doesn't have mode-b. No.
Thanks for the confirmation, I'll probably pick one of these up in the near future. You mention flashing the cartridges with an NDS, you can use an R4 card to flash them? would be helpful since I don't own a GBFlash/GBOperator or whatever they're called.Yes they can, they work just like an original cartridge when using it Pal Park, you just need to manually flash the cartridges with either a NDS or a GBFlash

you can program them via the NDS using any flashcard and https://github.com/vrodin/Burn2SlotThanks for the confirmation, I'll probably pick one of these up in the near future.
