the two Kirby games I mentioned are not big enough to warrant a lot of effort?

what do you mean?
No they are not. One of those Kirby games is just dlc. The other is not substantially different from its GameCube counterpart.

I'm not saying it will never happen, but we're looking at a timeline measured in years. I'd be shocked if we see anything substantial in the next 5 years

I disagree with you

and well, if that's the case, then when the next Pokemon, called Winds and Waves arrives, things will change

Although, from what I’ve heard and gathered, there's already a lot of interest in hacking the console

The post he linked to is a new account posting AI slop. We should never rely on AI for this kind of thing.
Dude, but what does that have to do with it?

Even the guy who hacked the Xbox One, I heard that he had the help of an AI to assist him.

I'm confused who this magic beneficiary you're talking about is. People who hack consoles are not the people who just want free games. Horizon OS is thoroughly audited. The one guy with arguable the deepest understanding of Horizon is retired after saying that there is no foreseeable path to an exploit chain. How are you anticipating people to actually come up with an exploit soon?

You keep on saying you've heard things that apparently the rest of us haven't heard. What are these things? Saying an AI "helped" with the Xbox one doesn't mean anything. Some hacker could have literally just asked it for a list of all hardware revisions and that's enough to say it "helped" an AI isn't going to come up with any novel solutions that haven't already been tried because it's only been trained on things that have already happened.

That's where I heard about AI helping the guy who hacked the Xbox one

A random YouTube comment? Really?
well, I saw this comment that caught my eye but I can research this

so I don't think I need to research, it's in the video

But did you watch the whole video to figure out what AI actually did in the whole thing? Did AI hold the person's hand while they were hacking?
bro, what's your problem?

I knew opening this post would give me brain damage.... I trust the guy that made Atmosphere over some AI that can and WILL hallucinate shit. Yes it can help but its not gonna find a shit load of exploits that humans aren't seeing when the entire OS was stripped apart and looked at. See you in 5-10 years when a browser exploit comes out

My problem is people that do not do their own research and just come to forums with their own opinions that instead of asking about the feasibility, they just point to X and say that because X is possible, Y will be easy.

"Doing your own research" often means "I look for the results I like to hear and ignore all the rest".
Then such people come to forums like these and get annoyed/angry when people tell them "no".

well, I don't even know how it came to this, I just wanted to give a bit of hope to those who think the Switch 2 is unhackable with the recent Xbox One unlock

at least, it gave me hope

See you in 13 years for a hack!
we don't know if it will take 13 years, yes, security technology has evolved, as has hacking technology, just look at how Denuvo's done badly again, and whether we like it or not, we do have AI to help and assist us.

Well, good luck. Any sensible people would actually lose hope when they see the limitations of the hack. Only works on the first XBONE model because MS didn't finish their security subsystem before launch, and thus all newer models can not be hacked this way. It took 13 years, and someone weeks and a whole lot of damaged xboxes to be able to achieve this, and even he isn't planning on creating modchips with this.
