What’s the switch 2 modding status?

I was thinking here, wouldn´t be something to think about to try to access Switch 2 nand and such with the "Switch 1 to 2" transfer process?

I mean, everyone has access to Switch 1 these days and can work on some altered files with injected codes here and there like a menu option or something to get access (like a letter bomb on Wii, for example), and, since the Switch 2 has this native "import files" from 1, wouldn´t this be a possible way to access the internal system?

Again, just wondering about it and decided to send this up as an idea for competent modders to reply, not that I really know anything at this point XD

From what I understand, pretty much no exploit is going to matter unless you find a way to get into trustzone. And the only time we done that software wise was back on 3.0.0 and with the help of a hardware oversight on switch 1.

Dip it in water and see if anything happens.

Really? Have people sunken so low to believe a basic JIT for ARM and memory management is a switch 2 emulator?
This is something a programmer can get done in a matter of days and its not even switch 2 specific. Heck i could get a LLM to do it for me in a matter of hours. Its also written in rust so might as well be useless for a switch 2 emulator performance wise,

Wish people would stop this clout chasing nonsense and wait for if/when the console gets hacked and actually work on something tangible. (Well before they get sued by the big N)

And as i look further into this.

One of the contributors who appears to be an unpopular minecraft youtuber is already just forking yuzu code and renaming it for their emulator. Which if i remember the settlement between yuzu and Nintendo was that Nintendo now owns all the code, SO already a red flag as well as just having a python keylogger made and curiously forked another WIP switch emulator,

So already off to a great start.

And thus the flat circle of time begins again. See you all in a couple years when Nintendo takes down whatever Switch 2 emulator that does arrive because we can never learn from the Yuzu devs or anyone who has failed before.

Complete source code for HOS has leaked. Maybe this will lead to something

what would this mean for unlocking and reverse engineering?

actually, according to what I remember, she doesn't own the code, the code is still open source

but also, everyone on the internet is going to say something different from oneself

according to what I was told, Switch 1 has been unlocked by the controller

if she made the same mistake, with that, we may have found a gold mine

The switch will be hacked soon enough.
Nothing is impossible, only improbable!
It will be a hardware mod and not a softmod.
I expect it to be a flash cart like the mig or a chip like the switch 1 had.
Also Nintendo has to get into dev mode on the switch 2 somehow!

Yes, and that has been proven true once again with the Xbox One

but I hope that now that hacking technology has likely advanced and we have AI on our side, it won't be long before the unlock is available, the same for the future emulator

if ai are so advanced, hacker already told them to go and hack a bank, not a console ! LOL

So, as you've already heard, the Xbox One, a console that was considered unhackable at the time, has been unlocked after 13 years

That gives me a little hope, after all, it’s a Microsoft console, and they don’t mess around when it comes to security, and even so they did it

the question now remains: It was the Xbox One's turn, when will it be the Switch 2's turn?

what do you think?
You already posted this comment on another thread, but here's why hackers weren't very motivated to hack Xbox:

If you had an Xbox One X or Series X/X you'd understand why it's not a big deal as it is on PlayStation and Nintendo.

Yeah, go on a heist with AI. 🤣

but I heard that the Xbox One hacker had the help of AI

but even so, the Xbox One was considered unhackable and if that's because the Xbox didn't have much desire to hack, imagine the Nintendo Switch 2, which has a lot of desire to hack

When the exclusives for the Switch 2 are out, yeah, there'll be desire to have it hacked. I can see a lot wanting to play the new Yoshi game even if it looks kinda boring.

I have it pre ordered and even though I wanted to buy Pokémon Pokopia I didn't because it's a Key Card.

A lot?

Mario Kart World
Donkey Kong Bananza
Pokémon Pokopia
Mario Tennis Aces 2

That's hardly a lot.

Do they? I'm not sure any of those games are big enough to warrant a lot of effort
