Probably possible with the correct technical knowledge.

But uh good luck finding a oled screen that meets the size and power requirements while also being a perfect 120hz VRR panel. And without hacking the console there would be no way of calibrating it correctly.

LOL! Good luck getting one that can support the SW's refresh rates and other features!

Well you'd need to find a display of the perfect size, power draw, and you can likely kiss VRR support goodbye as it's known to not play well with VRR.

Probably down the line. I mean if some 3rd party company was able to do it terribly for the Switch lite, it's probably doable on the Switch 2.

I just hope that when it does happen, they don't do the shitty things Retro Remake did.

1. Has battery drain because it is connected directly to the battery
2. Desyncs battery
3. Higher resolution than the original - see switch games on Switch 2
4. Color settings are not saved at all - Default profile looks terrible for realistic games.

Nintendo should have just released Lite models with OLED screens even if they'd be limited edition.

I'd have bought the Zelda Switch Lite if it had an OLED screen, but it didn't.

Ironically I bought a Zelda Switch Lite because Retro Remake promised it would be out day one with HDMI. Nope. It was delayed 1.25 years later with lots of issues. Ended up with 1 with a black console shell.
