I got a Japanese Wii U to upgrade the internal storage on (to 128gb), via MLC2SD. The device arrived in fully working condition: the gamepad connected, the console connected to the internet. I ran through the steps of installing ISFSHAX and installed the MLC2SD interposer.
I flashed the SD card, and everything went as planned, except the gamepad pairing menu would not even pop up when the button was pressed. This prompted me to retry flashing, leading to the current situation: the console light flashes blue infinitely. The SD card is recognized, and no errors occur when erasing MLC or SCFM.img... There's also a side problem, where the console flashes red when it's turned off, and the power cord needs to be re-plugged several times before it goes a solid red... I'm not sure if this is related, but it seemed worth mentioning.
In another thread, @SDIO suggested that the 5GhZ module or the DRH might be bad; but I swapped the module(s) from a working console, and that made no change. Plus, the gamepad was working just fine before this project started.
Any pointers would be appreciated, as I feel as though I've hit a dead end... This isn't a precious console by any means, but it would be great not to just scrap it.
