I'm having a problem with my OLED Switch. It freezes when I run games. If I'm not playing games, the console works perfectly fine, but it only freezes when I'm playing games. I've tried removing the Instinct mode, and it still does the same thing in official mode. I've also tried resetting it to factory settings, but that didn't fix it either. I don't know which component could be causing this problem. Has anyone else experienced something similar? Thanks in advance.

My guess is that it is just simple overheating.
Open up the back cover to see if the fan is spinning or clogged with dust.
Sometimes the fan breaks down and doesn't spin.

Opening the cover is a low risk task but if uncertain, just take it to a repair shop.
You could also ask if they can replace the thermal paste.
If you live in a warm country or leave your Switch in a hot enviroment, thermal paste might dry out after a couple of years.

I checked the thermal paste, and although it wasn't bad, I replaced it with new paste. The fan works perfectly. The problem persists. I've even considered the possibility of a faulty NAND flash memory and creating a new one (donated) since I don't mind getting banned if it solves the problem. Thanks for your reply. If anyone has any other ideas, I'd appreciate it.

You can try taking the SD card out, and running games off the internal NAND, and see if the issue still occurs, to rule out any issues with the SD card.

The OLED unlike earlier models doesn't have the SD reader on a separate module, the module's connection to the mainboard is a common failure point on those. So if there is an issue it's likely to be with the SD card itself, or maybe the SD slot is dirty or damaged (but unlikely)
