EXTREMELY weird h-encore glitch (a game starts playing, but I can't start the app normally)

I can't play any games I have installed because when I try to start h-encore a game called "Bitter Smile" starts, I guess I must've downloaded it last time I used my Vita (haven't used it in months). Every app behaves as if it's that game. It's very odd. Any ideas?

Edit: Problem solved.

h-Encore is older than god.

Remove h-encore PROPERLY (lest you brick your beloved little Vita), then install the awesome Henkaku/Henlo/Enso hack.

How do I remove it "properly", and is there a chance I lose my save data? And is there a way to just solve this problem instead? Thanks.

Actually, it's been a long time since I've used h-Encore, but I think you can just "delete" it, because it's not really installed the same way the Henkaku/Henlo/Enso hack. HOWEVER, don't quote me on that, I don't want you to do something that may not be the correct answer. Allow me to ask, then...

"Hey guys, how do you get h-Encore off of the Vita? Can it simply be "deleted" or is there a specific way of doing this?"

As far as the save files go, not sure. This forum (PS VITA Forum) is loaded with people who know everything there is to know about hacking and de-hacking a Vita. Someone will come along and post the answer to that in this thread, it's only a matter of time.

However, you are gonna LOVE the new Henkaku hack, it's just AWESOME.

So after I delete h-encore what would I do? I assume re-install it via PC somehow? It's been forever since I did any of this, sorry.

Regarding the files, thanks for telling me, I'll wait to see if someone can help. Thank you.
 
Sorry to bump this, I'm hoping for some clarification on the matters discussed in the thread thus far.

I couldn't find the file "h-encore" on the SD card to delete it when I connected it to a computer, oddly enough. I assume it's not called that as a file...

Whilst poking around on the SD card I also looked for this "Bitter Smile" game, but couldn't find it. However, I did find and delete some files which seemed to be from it, they were things like "portraits" and such, seemingly this was a visual novel. They were the newest files so it was easy to delete them. I hoped that'd solve this, but even with all of the ones I could find gone now the original problem persists. I can only assume there's still hidden files or something...

I'm totally at a loss as to what to do here, I hope someone can help.

TLDR: I'm still stuck :wacko:
