I just want this to be a feature:It’s been a long time since beta 28. I'm interested in helping by squashing out the most noticeable bugs, among other things.
Sure, here you goHey sasook, would you mind tagging Asdolo for me? I’m still new here and need to meet some requirements before I can tag or message people directly. Thanks!
This is exactly what I'm interested in!I've seen on some old threads that @Asdolo wanted to share the source of this and the other injectors? Did this ever happen?
I second this request even if I have to wait another 5 years because it would make it so much easyer to give my DS games the same type of banner all my GB, GBC and GBA games have-DS (yes, know its probaly not possible but hear me out) (There is a forwarder called YANBF which allows for DS games to be made into non-DSI cias, so your not limited to 40 DS games)
I know this is quite an old post, but where would one find this find this file? I couldn’t really find one that worked online. You need the file called "[BIOS] Nintendo Famicom Disk System (Japan)". It's a .bin file, though it might zipped when you find it. When you get the popup in NSUI that says "Error! Bios file for Famicom Disk System is not specified. Please configure it in options (Bios tab).", go to Tools > Options > Bios tab. Click on the box with the three dots to the right of the field labeled "Famicom Disk System Bios" and upload the aforementioned .bin file and click Save. NSUI should now allow you to convert the game to a .cia and save it to your folder of preference. Then just drag and drop it to your memory card as you would any other .cia file.

You'd find it in "ebay.com" after searching for "nintendo famicom disk system" and buying a FDS and dumping the ROM. Sorry! Read the rules; piracy links aren't allowed here. Google would be your best friendI know this is quite an old post, but where would one find this find this file? I couldn’t really find one that worked online.
I know this is old but thought I'd share the answer cause I just ran into this while modding an n3dsxl for my brother.for some reason i still get an error when i try to ad a bios file (FDS or GBA).
to be precise: it deletes the file after the selection and then puts out the error message.
also:
the game-image (ingame) of pokemon games (fire-red & emerald) is now shifted upwards and lines that are over the "edge" on otop are added at the bottom.

When modding previous systems I formatted the sd cluster size to 64kb and had no issues, but this time the 3ds guide website instructed me to use 32kb and this may have caused the same gba crop issue for me. After reformatting the sd however the screen was still cropped. I found in the Q&A of the 3dsqrcodes subreddit that you can manually adjust the screen placement in official virtual console injects by pressing home, then holding start and flipping left and right until the screen is in the right spot. Annoying having to do it everytime, but its the best fix I've found
Edit: On another note hearing that NSUI may get updated or opensource is great news. I hope there is updated emulators for gba and ps1, and snes cart labels. the retroarch/pcsx reloaded app has better performance and compatibility, they are the only games i cant open from the homescreen. I dont know how complex it would be to put it into nsui but that would be a gamechanger for ps1 games. Asdolo you are the man, Ive modded consoles for several people and your app makes that experience 10x better for them, thank you
Never used an emulator. What emulator are you using now, and what were you using previously?
