I downloaded beta 28. I now get "Error! Unable to download image." I disable my antivirus and firewall, but it didn't help.

Under Other resources I found the TLS Patcher. I installed in and it fixed my problem.

It works with some files, not others.

I have a GBA file that gives me the error "Unable to detect the save type of this ROM. It will be assumed that it does not have any type of saving mode.". What does this mean?

Hello, I'm having a lot of fun making cias of SNES best J-RPGs.

When possible I like to use the New 3DS SNES internal emulator.

Using the method described by Feffe long ago and SFROM Tool I was able to make "clean" versions of Quintet games.

However I didn't manage to get some games like Rudora no Hihou or Seiken Densetsu 3 working using this method. Has anyone manage to make them work with the 3DS version of Canoe?

I think the problem with SD3/Trials of Mana is that the game uses the SNES's "high-resolution" mode sometimes, and since AFAIK Nintendo never released any games that use that mode officially via the Virtual Console emulator, the emulator itself was never made to support it. You'll have to use SNES9x AFAIK.

Ha yes, actually Rudra also use this high-res mode, so that's why both games don't work. It was possible to resolve this issue with Canoe on SNES Mini but I guess it's not the case on 3DS.

actually I did find a workaround for high res games a while ago! Turns out Mario's Super Picross uses this graphics mode so you can inject games specifically into that .cia. Though I can't remember how I changed the banner and title ID...

I found out the game in question lacks a save feature but has a password system.

With which game did you manage to do that?

I tried with Rudora no Hihou, making a cia with Mario Picross jp rom, and then injecting the data.bin of Rudora (with translation patch) made with SFROM Tool, but it gives me a black screen at booting.

I think I managed to do it with secret of mana (turbo romhack), seiken debsestu 3, and rudras, but like I say I can't really remember the process
 
Good software. It would be nice if the font matched the virtual console font by default. And I encountered a crash when rapidly changing consoles with "prism" as my search text in case someone had uploaded that ROM hack to one of the other console databases. It would be nice if these databases supported ROM hacks if you own them. If not a separate ROM hack database would be a great thing for the community to look into. Thank you for the NSUI.

Any new updates or upcoming updates to NSUI?

All i have heard from small talk is that Asdolo might be making a new "NSUI" like software with updated injections and maybe new injections methods?

Some injection/forwarder I recommend that could be added:

- Virtual Boy (Using Red Viper as the base emulator of course, it runs so well, a forwarder for it would be sweet)

- TurboGrafx/PC Engine CD (Me and a couple other buds, have figured out a way to inject them and I have created a tutorial on how to make them. But the method is very tedious)

- Sega CD (There is also injection tutorial on how to make these, but it is also very tedious like TurboGrafx CD)

- Commodore 64 (There is a forwarder for it, but it could use some tweaks, it would be very nice to see in NSUI 2.0 lol)

-CSP1/CSP2 (& maybe CSP3...lol) (There is a forwarder for it, but it would still be nice to see it along side the other systems in NSUI 2.0)

-DS (yes, know its probaly not possible but hear me out) (There is a forwarder called YANBF which allows for DS games to be made into non-DSI cias, so your not limited to 40 DS games)

and many more... etc... lol

Just checking in! Thank you Asdolo and many others who have put in the hard work to make 3DS forwarders for everyone!

Hello, I came here because for the first time I have encountered a problem when injecting a game.
So far they have all been perfect but there is a Snes game that I can not get it to work.

It is the Fire Emblem Genealogy of the Holy War patched to Spanish.

So far all Snes games worked without problems with the official emulator or the Snes9x, but this does not work with either of the two options or with the other options that come out of retroarch.

I looked in case the rom was badly patched, but I tested it with a pc emulator that I downloaded and it worked, and on my Android phone I tested it on the Snes9x EX+ and it also works, so the rom is correctly patched.

Any idea how to fix it?

I have looked at the program I use, and I have seen that it is beta 27, and as far as I see there is a Beta 28 which is the latest version, but I'm not sure if it will change something to use the new version to make it work.
 
Quick question, anyone else having the problem that "Download icon/banner image from..." does not do anything and just keeps a black picture?
