Hi,
i'm trying to use Azahar emulator, that requires .cci file decrypted. Currently i'm using .3ds file decrypted on Lime3DS and Citra emulators. And i use .cia games on my 3ds.
Well, i tried to rename from .3ds to .cci my games but Azahar doesn't detect them it, it seems that it still continue to consider them as encrypted...
I tried to decrypt them using Batch CIA 3DS Decryptor.bat and it decripted only 6 games as all others games are already decrypted... I tried to reaname the 6 decripted games from .3ds to .cci and now those 6 games are detected but none of them work.
So, how can i know if a game is correctly and completly decrypted?

thank you

Instead of using the megascript, did you try to just go to the 3ds file in godmode and select it with A? Then NCSD image options and Build cia from file. Also, did you have enough space on the sd card?

yes i have enough space. I followed this guide: https://web.archive.org/web/20240304210011/https://citra-emu.org/wiki/dumping-installed-titles/ and i dump my installed game in .cxi format. In this way the game is detected by the Azahar emulator! I see that it is also possible to create the .cia in Standard or Legit mode: which is the difference between legit and standard? Is it better to install a cia game (if the dum works..i haven't try it yet) or the .cxi format is ok and it is correctly supported by emulators like .3ds?
I tried the .cxi game with Lime3Ds and it seems that it works fine like the .3ds file.

thanks!

Legit cia are made to be played from sysnand. It could be played without cfw and is something from the past since when the first cfws were made you had to enter in emunand in order to boot them. Kinda like with ps4 jb, where once you shut down the console you can't play the game. Well in those days entering cfw was a gamble since it could take 3 or 4 tries. Legit cia were titles that came preinstalled on 3ds so they have valid signatures and you could boot them without having to use cfw. An example can be the pokemon oras games or mario kart. It's not used anymore. So standard cia are just normal cia with invalid signatures (luma just says to the 3ds to ignore invalid signatures checking)

Unfortunately I haven't used a 3ds emulator since some time ago so I can't really give any info on that. I know Azahar devs implemented the thing about only wanting to use decrypted cci

thanks.
I'm trying the .xci games on Lime3DS (i created them from 3DS console with GodMode) and it seems they work exacly as the .3ds file...so i suppoose that both format are OK for that emulator.
Alazhar only support the .xci format, so i think that i will keep games in .xci format only as in this way i can play them with both emulator..
