PSX 80 Minute Patcher Question

Hi what I'm wondering...why do you still use Cds? Use Chd format with psx emulators. So quicker to load.
Anyway response is: No it won't affect anything is a bad way.
Is it for a kind of preservation?

Thanks for the reply. I perfer using pysical hardware and knowing no errors will present over emulator. It's not for preservation. I just thought if im burning a cd anyway, would it be better to just add the fix and then i'm covered on every playstation.

No harm in patching every game. There are a very few number of games I expect to not work (which use absolute lba addresses for CD audio, such as Tomb Raider). We currently have a list of games that absolutely do have the bug on early PS2s and the count is at 61! None of them have the absolute lba address issue luckily...
