Hacking Can I hack my oled with chip or soft mod??

Also to add on there are minimal holes within the switch operating system due to its tiny size. The xbox 360 dashboard is also extremely tiny and cannot be softmodded without an extremely low firmware and a patched version of a king kong game, or Tony Hawk. We got lucky with the RCM mod because Nvidia accidentally left debug features open. Safe to say that we will not have a softmod anytime soon. If you want a softmod, keep your hopes up, and be the change you want in the world.

if you need a modchip install go to wayayeo.com the guy that runs the site lives in texas he does phenominal work it would be 150$ for install but you have to do the softare part yourself there are plenty of tutorials on how to do this i hope this helps

Only part of V1 models are compatible with softmod, V2, Lite and Oled just modchip. On the website it doesn't say "Patched" because none of these models should even be there, since they are not compatible.

It's not your case, but only IF you had a V2 model AND your model had a system version equal or lower of 4.1.0(launched on December 4, 2017), you could use the browser method, which is called Pegascape, but again, it's not your case, since you have a Oled model, and for sure you are beyond 4.1.0 system version.

Correction, V2 is Mariko and they never came with <= 4.1.0. But the early ones were circulating at the same time as iPatched V1 Switches, some of which did come with vulnerable firmware. You can tell them apart by the red box.
PegaScape was pretty much patched before it was even released, there was only a very short window of time where you could find vulnerable units in the wild. Which is sad, if vulnerable FW had made it onto V2 units then people would be able to benefit from the improved battery life and superior overclockability of Mariko without the need for a modchip (which didn't appear until later)

Because 4.1.0 firmware is ancient and only V1 Switches came with it. Switch OLED is much, much newer.

Because OLED come above firmware 4.1.0 out of the box.

And if someone create something to downgrade the firmware to 4.1.0 I mean it’s no possible right now but it’s not impossible

Can't downgrade because efuses are blown. If the burnt fuse count doesn't match the amount for the firmware, the console will panic refusing to boot. This process can only be bypassed if you have a modchip or a unpatched unit to get around the bootloader. The only way any of the patched units is gonna get a softmod option is if ninty fucks up a firmware update. They haven't done that since firmware 4.1

This is just as likely as Nintendo making HOS open source and handing us the signing keys for the Switch.
 
You might be able to softmod it if your uncle who works at Nintendo sneaks you the full HOS source code [for an easier time finding vulnerabilities] or even better, Big N's keys.

I dont know if its 100 % true, but nintendo pays hackers to find entry points or vulnerables. Also nintendo made several Updates with nothing besides stability improvements (fishy right?) .
So i think that yes, maybe it was possible at some FW. Hackers have to sign for that they will not talk about the vulnerables or entry points in order to get the money.
But its pure speculation. Would not suprise me that after the switch 1 is out of production, we get many hacks. At least for lower firmwares. Thats why i keep my oled on a low fw.

This is how all companies find vulnerabilities in their software. Some do it publicly with a bug bounty program, others do it quietly.

i actualy paid 400$ for my white switch i baught the switch off him already modded at the time his service was 130$ it might still be but i also had him fix my pokemon switch as the modchip install failed which was done by some one else on etsy that caust me 160$ because i had him upgrade to the instinct v6s which are more expensive chips if you get the rp2035 pico fly then the whole thing is 130$ but you still have to do sofdtware setup yourself

if you are refering to it having the kaikaze no it uses the adapter and they are working fine the pokemon switch i had upgraded because the original install was not working corecctly most likly due to the fact i dropped it and posiibly knocked the dat0 adapter out of alighnment but its fixed now and working great i do however understand why you would recommend the permanent dat0 via kamikaze because when done correctly you no longer have to worry about the dat0 misallighnment issues for me though i am happy with what i have kamikaze is to risky imo but thank you for the advice it does make sense
