I can fully relate. I had abstained for a long time from ebay entirely because of that lack of trust, especially when PayPal and them were commingled to the point of being required to conduct business there. Still some of that now... what finally broke me to start buying was the simple reality that too much of what I wanted or cared for, was just not available any other way.
