I bought a classic 3ds from a japanese ebay seller link to the one I bought
and it came premodded with all the usual stuff like luma3ds, gm9 b9s and fbi. All games I’ve played have worked fine without issue except when I downloaded super smash bros and after the 3ds splash screen it became unresponsive. Backlight turned off and none of the buttons worked but the 3d light blue light stayed on. I force reset it by holding the power button and tried again but the same thing happened hell I even changed the sd card and it didn’t change anything. A user in a development team suggested I try using LumaLocaleSwitcher but that didn’t work so he told me to make a post here.
The 3ds itself is japanese and according to the developer was also region swapped running firmware 11.17.0.50U. not sure what to do now I’m assuming I have to undo the region swap but I have no modding experience and don’t wanna make a red glossy paperweight. Any advice?
