I know it exists as I've seen videos where they are going through Retroarch and there it is, a Sega Saturn Core. My Retroarch does not have this core in it. If anyone here knows how to do this I'd be grateful for a reply.

Thank you!!!

Sega Saturn is not working, in anyway on the vita. Its the most difficulty emulator ever. Even when it works, the framerate is super slow.
Would love to have this....

this here is for PSP over Adrenalin ->
Yabause v.0.9.10 SVN 2599
A Sega Saturn emulator for PSP.
https://www.rinnegatamante.eu/vitadb/#/info/965

Yabause is also bad working on Wii and PS3 System, so far I know PS4 was the first one where Saturn was somehow good working.
I am unsure, maybe never someone was try a Vita port ? dont see it on rinne list...

I shall test this, thanks.
Edit: I just tried it on Adrenaline and I get black screen on start up and have to force shut my Vita.

long time ago since I had test it, it should work on some games but only with 5fps or so. total unplayable. I was testing Enemy Zero for years ago.
will test later again, currently I am sick, have pain all day, need sleep...

what game had you test ?

thanks dizzy.

hmmm, reading the nfo, the psp version is outdated Yabause v.0.9.10 from 2010-05-29, the latest PC version Yabause 0.9.15 is from August 24 2016. In this fact it make sense to give a new try on real native vita system. hopefully rinne can do something.

here the nfo :

Yabause 0.9.15
August 24, 2016

This new version includes so many new stuff, I cannot list them all.
(If you really want the full list, it’s on our repository)

– Low-level CD Block emulation
– CloneCD file format support
– High resolution for the software renderer

– Musashi 68K core (code by Karl Stenerud)
– SSF sound format playing (code by R. Belmont, Richard Bannister, Neil Corlett)

As many of you should already be aware, Yabause was forked into a new project,
uoYabause, by devmiyax. We included some of his fixes back into Yabause.

Due to lack of maintainer, this release will be the last to include a gtk port.
Since our last release, we also improved our tools:
– Automated builds for linux, mac and windows
– Development builds pushed after each commit
– Translations on Transifex
– Compatibility reports on our wiki

The latest release is v0.9.15 and v0.9.10 was ported to PSP as an experimental release.

Install:
Note: The emulator requires an authentic BIOS image file to run. The file should be named BIOS.BIN (make sure the BIOS matches the games region that you want to load).

Create a directory for Yabause under /PSP/GAME/ on your memory stick (e.g. /PSP/GAME/YABAUSE/) and copy EBOOT.PBP there.

Copy the data you want to run and the BIOS image into the Yabause directory you created with the following filenames. Yabause support booting games using Saturn CDs or ISO files.

BIOS.BIN - BIOS image.
CD.ISO - CD image (can also be a cuesheet).
BACKUP.BIN - Backup RAM image (optional).

Being an experimental release for the PSP, there is no configuration interface and the only way is to configure script from its source code.

Compatibility Game List is available from the official Yabause Wiki (~750 games released for Sega Saturn video game console has been tested and ~69% are playable).

Start - Start
Square - A
Cross - B
Circle - Y
L - L-Trigger
R - R-Trigger
Note: C and Z buttons are unassigned.

Only works for PSP Slim (PSP-200x) or later.
Functions may not work well (or at all). No configuration interface.

You should keep an eye out for Taki Udon's handheld Mister project... he's going to be selling them for under $200 USD, and they play Saturn using FPGA, not emulation. So it will run the games at full speed with almost no weird glitches and stuff. Not to mention PS1, N64, and everything on down too.
