That is a nice design! Thank you sir. I will add it to the next release and credit you there.

I will look into adding a mute option and an fps counter.

I'll also have to revert my rendering changes, as it is causing some games to crash at startup.

Really glad you found it useful for your project releases. :grog:

I saw a small shift in compatibility on a brief test with Contra 4, the game doesn't respond to the control anymore.

Since the paths changed in recent releases, here is a rebuilt vWii overclock forwarder that now points to either:

apps/NooDS-Wii/boot.dol
or
apps/NooDS/boot.dol

I won't have time to try this soon so feel free to test and let me know.

I'm going to wait for it to mature a bit more; the DS catalog is excellent and the possibilities for DS on the Wii are immense. I think the challenging part is the processor, since there are two of them (ARM7 and ARM9).

I wasn't familiar with this emulator, only MelonDS.
MelonDS is very good too. It has a port to the Vita, and a few others.

Many, many years ago, there was a proof-of-concept port of DeSmume for the Wii, it was barebones and very unstable. I think it ran at 1-2 fps max, and could only execute a small handful of games.

Even 2D DS games at more speed could be very welcome. NooDS-Wii is a great start.
