This is a new Switch OLED, so I'm not sure if this was an issue before my Pico install.

Pico glitches FAST every time and boots up fine to OFW, CFW, Hekate, etc.

I wanted to ask here if anyone has heard of broken charging (with working USB) as a result of chip installation, or any other recommend troubleshooting steps, before I replace the port or something.

Is there anything I can test with multi-meter or check wiring wise?

Thanks!

Just an update, it looks like Dock charging works, but ONLY dock charging.

If I take the cable from the dock and plug it in directly, no charge.

Verrrryyyyy interestiiiiiiing

UPDATE 2:
I case anyone ends up with the same issue and finds this somehow...

idk wtf happened, but I kept swapping different chargers into the dock, they all worked.
Then I started trying to plug a few of them in directly, in between docking, and they finally started registering again without the dock.

UPDATE 3:

After more intermittent ability to charge directly, I noticed that if I use a little extra force when plugging in, it works every time.

I think after the mod, I mounted the motherboard slightly deeper due to the play in the mounting holes/screws, causing the USB port to be slightly deeper.

Problem solved for now.
