Alright. Please tell us more about how you came to the conclusion that 4IFIR is out of safe limits. I am very interested to hear the rationale for such a bold statement.
If you prove that there are dangerous values in 4IFIR, I will remove them immediately.
Just last night I updated 4IFIR to 1.4. Now I can finally post. Do not hurry. Soon.COMING SOONI don't understand the first post is empty how do I download or do that oc? and will it work on unpatched v1 switch?
There are problems at docked with new version of overlay, it's not 4IFIR relatedAtmosphere crashes and auto reboots in 4ifir 1.4 (1.3 too) in docked mode for me navigating the overlays, can you fix it please? 2168-0002 error, maybe i didn't read it correctly but the program is 4100000000075E1A.
Edit: I searched the contents folder and there's no 4100000000075E1A, is 4200000000075E1A, i think i misread.

You will not find a single one about the fact that the burned down. Maybe enough to discuss a non-existent problem? Come back when at least every thousandth device burns down. Even one in hundreds of thousands has not burned down yet.
A GIT repository would be ideal, and @Cooler3D already knows that. This might be a little bit troublesome for him as (if I remember correctly) users from the Russian Federation are temporarily banned from the service, but I’m sure he’ll be able to find a suitable alternative. As for what is and is not acceptable, I’d leave that to the staff rather than make any projections ahead of the release - the fact that the hosting service is also used for mining as a form of monetisation strategy is rather annoying and makes the browsing experience rather unpleasant.Cooler3D will need to make sure all source code changes are readily accessible if he wants to present any project update here, the above website will not be acceptable for that purpose.
If it doesn't exceed the limits then it shouldn't be doing any damage.Maybe my math is false, then correct me please.
I have a bad binning on my Mariko CPU: 1569 speedo
5A CPU limit on 1.2 Volt = 6w
With max CPU overclock 2397 MHz boostmode I have measured ~6w on my power meter.
Where everything else is included: display, fan, AC to DC and the other components.
It should be well within the limits.
With 60 fps patches, max GPU OC on the lowest 4IFIR Stage and CPU at 1963MHz ,
my power meter shows me a draw of 9-11w most of the time.
The highest I have measured was 13.2w, but only short spikes in rare cases.
This also shouldn't exceed the limits.
And I play them with a power adapter connected.
The switch with 4IFIR is still heavily undervolted on the lowest Stage and draws less power than with OC Suite.
About -20% in BotW.
All users can edit system_settings.ini. My settings are for quiet operation, but they can easily be changed by any user.Look forward to the new update and burning your hands!

I never pointed out any specific voltage, and if you're setting lower ones and getting better results then great. It is possible to go beyond the safe limits, and hardware has tolerences for that but its not ideal, your pack seems to not do this to a degree. I recall you stating that it was safe and that some limits were nonexistant or non issues, although my memory is hazy on those details. I will agree with you on the voltage thing for CPU, which the graphs were in watts, but GPU is in amps, which is its own issue but I digress. I couldn't care less about people burning their switches, ive said this before. Anyway, just acknowledge that these limits exist, and that your software potentially exceeds them, that's all im asking. Why are you telling all this? It has no meaning, because it has nothing to do with 4IFIR. Power consumption is determined not only by frequencies, their voltages are also involved in the formula, which in 4IFIR is much lower than what you suggested. You know about it, but you decided to leave out this detail.
You have been chasing the project for a year and a half, talking about how dangerous it is. And people have been using 4IFIR for a year and a half, not realizing how they lived without it. I am not exaggerating, in the discussion of the project on regional resources you can find not even hundreds, but thousands of reviews.
You will not find a single one about the fact that the burned down. Maybe enough to discuss a non-existent problem? Come back when at least every thousandth device burns down. Even one in hundreds of thousands has not burned down yet. Literally not one. You know about it too.
You also know that it is impossible to go beyond the safe limits of the specifications - this is provided for by software and hardware protection methods. You can't even get close to these values using 4IFIR. Statistics 0 incidents, this is not luck, but a pattern.
You are well aware of the existence of an explicit warning of consequences and a disclaimer. You know very well that I have never stated that 4IFIR is absolutely safe. No one in their right mind would argue about the safety of any homebrew.
Why am I explaining all this 1000 times if you know about it in advance? Because your goal is not to save people from danger. Please return to your friends in discord and do not fool people with these fantastic nonsense.
And re-read the FAQ, for whom did I write it? For people like you. Are you afraid of something that hasn't hurt anyone? It's called a phobia. Contact a specialist. And do not use my project, just go your own way.
Absurd.
It's decently spot on, however you do have to take into account some other things. GPU readings in my post we're in amps, reading the 10A limit. If the pack doesn't exceed those limits then its a non issue.Maybe my math is false, then correct me please.

As you can see in this example the language has nothing to do with developers, you are obligated to make the source changes available available to your users, therefore you are only punishing your own users by limiting and obscuring access to the changes.
Luckily the gbatemp staff have stated that the current version of the source code must be made fully available if this Cooler3D character wishes to properly share his project here.
Can I help you find the link to the cloud with the code that I posted 8 times in the thread?
I’m under the impression that the website does this automatically in lieu of ads, but I’m not sure - haven’t really looked into it that much.O_O There are no hidden miners on my cloud! There never were and never will be, and I absolutely do not monetize the project, I refused donations and patronage hundreds of times, I did not accept a single one. And I still refuse regularly. There are no analytics collectors in 4IFIR, I even sawed out the system ones. Miner is not there either. And on the online configurator page. Nowhere.
