So I recently got a 2ds LL, I know I can't move my data from my old broken console as it is different region and if you use the CTRtransfer thing to display the console in english then the system transfer tool tells you to go to the eshop at least once to proceed but the eshop after changing region becomes unaccesible. So I simply can move my games by converting them to cia and reinstalling them on the new console and restore the saves with Checkpoint, but all my Nand data will have to remain on the old console.. but since the eshop will close soon maybe after it you won't get any message related to the eshop when going to the system transfer option, do you know/believe that system transfer to region changed consoles will be possible after the eshop closure, this is my only hope to transfer my Nand data to my new 2ds, please tell me!

Why would you expect the eShop closure to affect System Transfer? The eShop is still going to be operating for downloading previously-downloaded titles and for cartridge updates, so I wouldn't expect System Transfer to suddenly work differently.

Also, what NAND data do you specifically want to transfer? Activity Log? Mii Plaza? I understood a lot of it was kind of tricky, but I'm not sure what the current state of that is. (I know you can specifically enable NAND titles in Checkpoint if you edit its configuration file, but I don't know what that's good for. And JKSM has always been an option.)

(Also, why did you put "Interesting question" in your subject line?)

There is probability that you won't get any error about the region change as the main feature of the eshop is to download games and internet is required for it and it'll be down already, this thread was rather a discussion.

The data I want to move is my mii data, my friend list, and my playlog, I'd like to know if There is some method to transfer my data somehow else like by using save editors, any guide?

Of course this is an interesting question because if you are able to move data with the system transfer it would be nice, right?

Did you understand my post..? The eShop will not be available for new purchases, but it will still be available for downloads. (Even the Wii and DSi shops are still available for downloads – or at least, they're supposed to be. There have been some unexplained glitches in recent times.)

The data I want to move is my mii data, my friend list, and my playlog,
Do you mean Mii Plaza, or just individual Miis you've created? Because if it's just Miis, it would probably be easiest by far just to use QR codes and transfer them one-by-one.

Friend list would be quite impossible, I think. Not sure about the Activity Log.

Of course this is an interesting question
If it's so obviously an interesting question, it hardly needs to be labelled an "Interesting question", now does it..?

so I already know how to backup the nand saves with checkpoint, I will try. I thought this would be a sticky thread but no one else even replied...

Also this might help to move the data to a new system
