Ever since i updated to the latest Switch Firmware, Atmosphere and Hekate,
installing themes with "Themezer-NX" gives me some "fatal error" shown sideways
and saying in need to pres power to reset, so press, reset to Hekate,
deleted the "0100000000001000" folder from "atmosphere/contents" folder,
and i can boot up again, but without a theme that i downloaded.

What gives? Any ideas how to install themes without the error after reboot?
P.S. I found a really nice theme... :(

Try downloading your theme to yiur SDCard and then installing it with the NXThemeInstaller homebrew you can download from here:
https://github.com/exelix11/SwitchThemeInjector

One of the things NXThemesInstaller will do is make you extract the home menu from scratch. You do want to do this step to ensure compatibility.

if this doesn’t fix, it could be an incompatibility with another sys-module you have installed.

I was bout say something similar and that it seems like nxtheme installer extracts new home menu data after every firmware update

Hello, i had the same problem, when i apply the personalized lock screen menu on NxTheme and reboot, my switch entered in softbrick. Now, watching some videos on yt, I noticed that I had skipped the step of extracting the home menu after the atmosphere update.

You should always disable themes before updating your firmware THEN extract the new home menu files before installing themes again

Least you'll be locked, thankfully you only need to delete the correct folder to boot again

I'll try it as soon as I get home and let you know. Infact i updated yesterday the Atmosphere...
Post automatically merged:

I have just redone all the steps correctly from the beginning also extracting the home menu before installing the various themes, as soon as I try to apply the lock screen the console goes to siftbrick
