using hakchi2_0.20.rc3 seems to be a problem with how the kernel is shaking hands with the tv. I haven't experimented with this much, but using an automatic HDMI switcher, turning off the console after executing a soft reset to menu using controller puts the snes...
I mean just create the subdirectories and move the appropriate files into those directories... if the game files already exist on the same partition.
I dont know how else to explain it.
If you have 100 games it should only take a few seconds.
Every app I have tried, actually physically...
is there an app that exist to create subdirectories for wbfs files? Ive tried to use wii game manager, but it wants to copy the entire game file as well.

0. Is it possible to load wads from a usb loader? (i doubt it, but its worth asking)
1. Is it possible to install wads directly to a sd card? or does it have to go to console memory first?
2. How fast can the wii read/write to an sd card (hopefully this is...

I got it working, after 2 portable hdd and 2flash drives, i got a third flash drive to work. I had no idea the wii was so picky about drives. someone who has a first page post should add this info. If there is a compatibility list somewhere ill add my findings to it.
hitachi H31000U portable...
I just tried doing that. When i plug it in, it says OK!. The app is unresponsive to any key presses after that.
I also noticed right when the app starts. it starts counting down and even with the drive unplugged no buttons will do anything.
The enclosure is a hitachi h31000u, inside is a western digital hdd. It might be worth mentioning that usbloader runs fine without the hdd connected, it only hangs when the hdd is attatched.
although i ended up accidentally changing my nand with no way of going back bc i didn't know you needed a gamecube controller to restore it (i have a wii minus/1.1, which doesn't have gamecube controller support)
and if i find the sd card i have my NAND backed up on, i can not only restore the NAND if i solder the right part in, but i can also put my NAND on dolphin, then i can play dolphin online, like PMEX Remix or MKWii Riibalanced
