Boredom strikes again. I know there are a lot of other templates out there so why do you need another one? You really don't. But, I don't care. I was bored. Template was tested on the R4 and should fit everything perfectly. Info bar in green is where the version, item selection, and time are shown. Not sure if either has a specific width. I can only figure 5 characters for the version, 11 for the item selection ("Boot Slot-2" being the biggest thing that'd fit in that space), and 8 characters for the time. I just chose the whole width, feel free to section em off if need be, but it's in the right spot vertically.

EDIT: Edited bg2 template to comply with 1.08 update.

can you make templetes for the location of the "English version" title on logo.bmp?

Thanks for sharing your templates Katalyst. I had been searching through the 'R4DS skins' thread and then I realized everything I needed was linked in your sig! With these I hope to start contributing soon.
 
Great skin, man - simple, yet stylish. I like the color selection. Looks great on white DS Lite. But you're missing one file

this is a very useful template, I actually think this, and the big skin topic should both be stickied

just wondering if anyone has the image with all the icon's the R4 displays, the soft reset button, light icon, scroll bar etc?

GCTonyHawk7's preview template has all the icons (so credit to him of course). Went ahead and copied them from it and overlaid them on the template for ya:
