Click on the link below for the GBAtemp NoPass Comparison Chart.

Currently, it pits..

Max Media Launcher
Neo MK4 Mini
PassCard 2
PassCard 3 New Version (Orange & white.)
PassCard 3 Old Version (Dark orange, almost red tinted & white.)
SuperKey New Version
SuperKey Old Version
Ultra FlashPass 512Mbit
Ultra PassKey

..against each other. Unsurprisingly, the features and compatibility are nearly the same between them.

Spots are open for..

EZ-Pass 3 (currently unavailable)
Neo M4K-Key (will arrive when order ships)
PassMe2 Z Mini (currently unavailable)
Ninjapass DS Flash 512Mbit (will arrive when pre-order ships)
Ninjapass Media Launcher (will arrive when pre-order ships)

Look for this chart to be continually updated with FlashCart compatibility and any other NoPass devices as they become available.

Grog for your efforts Qrayzie.

You can tell you have put a lot of time and effort into that comparison. Hopefully that will answer a lot of questions for people.

Hi, I'm a little curious why you put "No" for EZ 4 for the Passcard 3 after you said yes in another thread.

Edited Supercard to Passcard, long day

You mean PassCard 3?

It varies based on the firmware/software updates the EZ Team puts out. For example, PassCard 3 & SuperKey worked, then they broke, then they worked again - and with the most recent update, they don't work again. I put no to stop the confusion - hopefully the EZ Team decides to stop messing with their bootstrap so that the devices will work with it ALL the time.

I gather you mean Superkey not Supercard3 (No such thing).

The reason I assume is because the latest EZIV update has made the Superkey not compatible.

Thanks for the reply. I did mess up my post

From your testing, are the Passcard 3 and Supercard identical in all respects? Like with the older firmware with the EZ 4, did they both work, and with the newer firmware with the newer bootstrap, did they both break? Is the same true for the MML?

Thanks, I think the answer to the above will end all this crap going around between all the nopass cards.

The PassCard 3 & the SuperKey function identically, except for the PassCard 3 having a splash screen when it boots up. (It's not a particularly attractive screen either.) They act as real game cartridges that simply redirect the NDS to load from the GBA slot.

From my testing, when the EZ-Team breaks the support, both cards stop functioning, and when they work - both work.

I haven't been able to get the Max Media Launcher to boot the EZ-Flash IV at all, but I'm still trying different combinations of firmware/software to see if it will accept one.

Updated the chart with an X-Cart (ProCard) that I had here as well. Also added X-ROM to the list, but I don't have one of those to test with at the moment.

Thanks for this chart- helps a lot with my descions on PassMe's for my original DS and a EZ4. I guess it would be a gamble to buy a Superkey or a PassCard 3 and hope it works in a EZ4 miniSD, so I might as well buy a EZPass2 since I'm planning on flashing my DS anyways.

It seems that MK4-mini Works with EZ4 and EZ4-lite

Compatibility test

As a guide card section, the only function is to be done in a variety of replication cards, or a fall or before Max Media Launcher and Supercard/PASSCARD3, which does not support EZ1/2/4 and not support behind two cards plus a EZ1/2 procedures, Then MK4 mini sections copying cards for compatibility? Following is the test results :
Supercard : support
M3 : support
EZ4 : support
EZ4 Lite : support
Gbalink : support
EZ1/2 : support (whether single card mode or support a card model)
EFA Linker : support
Earth flash : support
G flash : support

So, will you choose a Passcard 3 or SuperKey or MK4-mini for the EZ4-lite ?

For clarification, what do you mean as far as EZ updates go? New software for the GBA cart, and not the NDs one, right?

If that's the case, couldn't one simply use an older version of the software that did in fact work?

Impressive work!
Thanks a lot for your work and your time, Qrayzie

.. I need a passcard 3 *drools*

Hmmmm. I wonder what this (Old Version) junk is about. I received a second SuperKey in the mail, and low and behold it boots the EZ-Flash IV.

I'm not convinced enough to update my comparison, but..more information is needed!

Qrayzie - so you're not confirming that there are two different versions?

I have two SuperKeys, they both look identical. I have to look into it more when I'm back home again.

No problem. It appears to boot any firmware, both on the EZ-Flash IV and the EZ-Flash III.

Wow, thats freaking weird. Such a new card has a revision already, and apparently the "new" revision is less compatible. I wonder if there are Passcard 3 revisions as well.

I guess the important thing is the EZ Flash team will hopefully do a firmware udpate fixing the problem, and any EZ owner can downgrade their firmware and use either card and install Flashme (I hope you can downgrade the EZ4 Lite firmware as well).
