hi im new to translating but i wana try. im allready working on it. idk what im translating so i cant post things as pokemon names 20% story 0,2% but im translating all japanese i can find. when im done with soul silver ill start with heart gold. ill upload the files later everyone who wants can help editing, im using google but im also looking on it myself to see if something diffrent will fit better instead. i need all the help i can get, in word there is 3339 pages of text i have to look thru. but i wont give up, ill answer all questions i can.

The problem is, no one's going to team up with you on this. It's not a collaborative community project, just a bunch of weeaboos wanting to show off their e-peens.

You're just being impatient. Magnius and Kazo have probably done 1/4 of the story. The English version is out in 6 months.

if this guy intends to go through with his project this will mean altogether 4 translations of HGSS in engliah lol, man do we need another one?? hey espen from what i know Magnius is already planning on a 100% translation so why don't you wait for his??

The translation thing is not a competition. What you're doing is absolutely pointless. There's an upcoming Google Translation API patch, a translation from someone that knows Japanese and a patch that carries over dialogues from GSC. Your one is???

Go to the translation request thread and look for a game in it you find interesting and try your hand at translating that, in the long run you'll get more e-cred that you can then spend on upgrades for your e-penis.

hey srry if i seem to be ranting but i swear i was the one who wrote the posts but it now says posted by King Zargo.. Can you guys explain?? I'm not sure but one second i was logged in with my own username but when i tried to reply to espen's post it changed to King Zargo anyone have any explanation??

Sometimes it happens. VERY rarely, but it happens. Don't worry about it. If it happens again, just log out then log in again.

Well the thing is that there are already Tools to translate the Pokemon games so they don´t even needed to reverse the file formats and so on and it´s just needed to translate the items and so on (and these i just the same as in the old game i would guess).

If you really want to get experience in translating games look on romhacking.net and start with simple games.
