I heard that akaio 1.5 is comming out soon. Maybe its just a rumor but if its true please let me know. And if it is true can anyone tell me what the changes will be?

AKAIO wasn't technically abandoned. It and a number of the programmers sold ou...er... were bought out by the Acekard people and it'll be retooled and become the official firmware, if I remember right.
