Hacking DX is selling DSi's...

This is really news.....I'm somehow skeptical about that...I don't know why!

I think I wouldn't feel comfortable buying a DSi from there (although I love the place, don't get me wrong)..
 
i would buy if flash carts would work on it already. i wonder how much i can resell it for on craigslist though....some collector might buy it. or i could show it off and say i imported it...but naaaah. i'm not like that

It'd be the only thing you could buy from DX and be guaranteed it wasn't a clone! lol Not a bad price though considering what some other sites are charging.
 
Pointless buying it until a) they make flashcards work on it without any extra hardware modding!

and b) if they cannot make a) happen find a way of making them REGION FREE otherwise in any country other than JAPAN the are pretty pointless!
 
I can't remember where it was, but I saw one for 249.99 with free shipping... but it's only a three buck difference. I don't get why people don't just wait for the NA release. The console is region locked AND flashcarts don't work on it. So wtf are you gonna do with it?

Take pictures and play with them!
(I know I would for several minutes, then I'd put it away, and wait for the piracy solution)

Nicely Put.... To be honest its kind of useless right now, only if for some strange reason all my DS Lite's break ill get one, other than that i really don't see the point in a Dual camera crappy SD slot handheld (crappy as in useless). Also having a Flashcard working on it will ruin the feel of the DSi which is all about the menu and the extra features.
 
They are selling it for few dollars more than play-asia, so after knowing DX service, why would someone go and buy from them instead of buying it from play-asia?

You're forgetting that shipping isn't free when you buy at Play-Asia!

So this way it's cheaper for $10+

Isnt shipping with bubble packaging somewhere around $5?
Also after ordering it is most likely to be shipped out the next day. Even the slowest posting service never took longer than 8 days for me.
I even ordered stuff from play-asia when I was during my holidays in Dubai, expected to get it within 6-8 days, took the risk and got it on 7th day

But I don't think they'll be shipping something "important" as this in bubble packing, and from my personal experience..
I have ordered some stuff in Friday from Play-Asia, and next Tuesday from DealExtreme, guess which pack got first?!

DealExtreme!! in two weeks, Play-Asia in three!! But I live in Croatia..
