Ohh ok.
I have there the file with the following contents. First time I did the update, someone gave me an SD card root already prepared to use. So I never seen this file before. But now that I went there, I saw it there.
No idea why my find command didn't find it.

Contents of my hekate-ipl.ini
INI:

Well do you have an emunand?

Well do you have an emunand?
That first part I did in the beginning when I first modded the console, was done literaly by spoonfeeding me each step, so I don't know very well the proccess, but yes, I have an emuNAND.
Don't we have to have one when we mod the console (OLED here)?

Quick one, I'm about to update my switch to 15.0.0, but when I load up daybreak to update the console it says that my atmosphere version is outdated and that I require Atmosphere 0.14.0 or later.

I've just transferred all the files from the Github page, and in the system settings it says I'm running FW13.0.0 and AMS1.4.0... Am I missing something here? Is there a different homebrew I should be using to update the console now?

Thanks all!
Go to System Settings and take a screenshot of current system version to paste here.

[Atmosphere FSS0 emuMMC]

emummcforce=1

{}

either one would be fine if you have an emunand, the top one use fusee.bin and the bottom via boot via hekate

Ok, thanks.

Yes, OLED here!

One other question.
I have updated Hekate and Atmosphère. I can now update the system to 15.0.1, right? Should I do it from Stock SYS or from Atmosphere Fusee EmuMMC? Does it makes a difference?

It's all good now thanks! Turns out Daybreak had a slight update, I was using one from way back in 2021. Didn't realise that Atmosphere came with Daybreak now!

Also, it says:
Current System Version:13.0.0|AMS 1.4.0|S

I just saw the DBI App that you told me to install has an option to 'Reset Required Version'. Would this be helpful with revering a game back to it's base game? For example, delete the update, then reset required version to be able to play the 1.0.0 version of the installed game?

If so, that's fantastic news actually! I've needed a way to do that forever ahaha. I suppose it also removes the 'Software requires and update' prompt for the game you reset required version for too?

Cheers!

EDIT: Just Reset Super Meat Boy required version which was giving me a prompt, and it does remove that prompt. How does it do that :rofl: Impressive!

Yeah…without the long delays of SXOS releases it’s not really that necessary anymore though, what with everyone migrating to Atmosphere and releases/patches all following within a day for the past few releases.

you may want to consider an emunand instead of running on your Sysnand but that’s probably not that big of a deal since your (S)ysnand has already been used with Tinfoil and stuff. Please make sure you do a Sysnand backup. Your future self will thank you.

Heyah !
Today, I've ended up with 2 Switch OLED Pokemon Scarlet / Violet edition. I've in mind to return one since i've the other for my collection and done. However, a little voice in my head is like "If only you could CFW it, you could just keep it and use it ?"

I wanted to know if there was a list of people doing CFW mods for these ? Especially in Europe :/
Thanks a lot o/

After updating Hekate and Atmosphère, should I update the system to 15.0.1 from Stock SYS or from Atmosphere Fusee EmuMMC option in Hekate? Is there a difference?

preference is always to keep your Sysnand 100% clean of anything like cheats and piracy so yiu can go online and your Emunand (the copy of your Sysnand on SDCard) can be as dirty as you’d like But keep it offline.

With that in mind, you can then treat Sysnand and Emunand as two different systems and you can update their Firmware independently.

When bringing CFW in the mix, make sure you can successfully boot Atmosphere (via Hekate) and only then should you upgrade your Firmware.

Typically, if your Sysnand is 100% clean, you would upgrade it by allowing it to connect to Ninty’s update servers. You would then dump your firmware to SDCard using tegraexplorer (or find firmware already dumped on the internet) and update your Emunand using Daybreak.nro that comes with Atmosphere.

you can read all about these processes here:

There was a crack down on hardware modders a while back so there‘s not going to be a list of targets kept here. In a pinch you could take it to a cellphone/electronics repair shop and they could fit the chip for you. It does require some fiddly soldering though and there’s always a risk of damage from technicians unfamiliar with the process. Perhaps one of the modders will reach out to you or you could check out some of the OLED threads.

The terminology still bugs me the hell off. :p
I think my SysNand is still clean. I never used cheats in any game, neither on SysNand nor in EmuNand. Not even any mod, themes, whatever. Only games from shops in EmuNand. In SysNand only legit/purchased games!.

What I'm going to do is:
Download 15.0.0 firmware from the usual site.
Unzip it to a folder in SD card root.
Boot to Atmosphere Fusee EmuMMC
Go to Daybreak and select the folder with the unzipped firmware.
Update from there, using Install (FAT32 + exFAT).

I think this is correct, right?
Then, I can go to Stock SYS, let it connect to N servers and update normally.
Is this correct?

Ok, thanks.

If you have an emunand then updated from the emunand partition via daybreak, I wonder how you have android and ubuntu? I don't think those work on OLED

[Horizon]
fss0=atmosphere/package3
stock=1
emummc_force_disable=1
{}

Stock SYS that is only for Stock Sysnand No CFW enabled.

Yeah, I never used any other options other than Atmosphere FuseeEmuMMC and Stock SYS.
I think I tried some of the other options but they are exactly the same as Atmosphere FuseeEmuMMC. At least I couldn't find any noticeable difference at a first glance!

About the update, I already updated Atmosphere Fusee EmuMMC to 15.0.0. Can I now boot to Stock SYS and update to 15.0.0 via official method?

What you are doing are correct, if your sysnand is separated from your emunand.

Yes, I think they are because if I boot to Stock SYS an go to Settings -> Console it tells me that there is an update available. Andd as I already updated Atmosphere Fusee EmuMMC to 15.0.0 and in Stock SYS it tells me there is an update available, it's because they are in different partitions (??).

Yea they are seperate partition, Sysnand Emmc is the onboard 64GB, while the Emunand one is on the SD card, you probably got a hidden partition on the SD card. It is nice to have a clean Sysnand for online play and an emunand for pirated stuffs.

That initial part was literaly spoonfed to me so that's why I don't know the terminology very well yet! But yes, at the beginning I remember to have created partitions and stuff like that with some tools from Hekate, iirc.

I just updated OFW aka Stock SYS and it's now on version 15.0.1.

Is there any problem having OFW at 15.0.1 and CFW at 15.0.0 ?

Yea you are fine of having 15.0.1 OFW, and 15.0.0 CFW, you can update to 15.0.1 if you want for CFW

Edit nevermind I notice Firmware update files not available for 15.0.1
