Sounds like you can't buy it, but if you were to "acquire" (illegally download) it and install it on hacked Switch, you could at least play offline local play modes.
The article says something about online matches continuing to work to some extent after the shutdown of the servers, but probably not from a hacked Switch appropriately blocked from Nintendo's servers.

Physical copies are still available it's just online functions aren't probably due to licensing issues because of the characters involved.
