Hi! I have recently been trying to import a .sav exported from DeSmuMe into my Twilight Menu++ application. I have a majority of my game on the emulator, but I would like to have it on my 3DS for when I travel. However, if I export the file into my saves, I get a black screen when loading the file in-game. Does anyone know a fix for this or another route to take? I would really appreciate any feedback I can get.

Hello everyone. sorry to revive this topic. I am currently trying to achieve with a Pokemon save file but I haven't been successful with it.

After exporting the .dsv to a .sav (RAW) using Desmume, I then use Shunyweb to export it into a .sav (R4 format). However, after trying to load it using Twilight, I get a black screen and a soft locked 3ds, with the background music playing at a very low volume. The same happens if I try to load the the .sav (RAW).

Is there anything Im doing wrong?

Hello everyone I have a similar issue this is my first time writing a thread but I wanted to import a Pokémon blaze black save because it had an eggLocke is there a way to import the save file to my 3ds twighlightmenu

I am also sorry to revive this topic, but whenever I try to import my .sav file into twilight, it just ignores it and makes a new save file. (Don't worry, I have the save backed up on my computer.) Can someone please help?

Make sure the name on the save is exactly the same as the one on the the nds file. Also it should be inside the saves nds/saves folder. Delete the new save that TWilightmenu created, leave only the DeSmuMe save.
Also, it should be in a .sav format otherwise you'd need to convert it to that somehow..

Yeah, I did all of that first but it still didn't work. I don't really know what else to do. Thanks for trying to help, though.

Then the DeSemuMe save might be incompatible with TWilightMenu. I'd ask @RocketRobz he'd know if it's indeed the case..
DeSmuME should have a save export option, which exports the `.dsv` file to `.sav`.

sorry if i am late to the party but i am trying to import a pokemon black 2 .sav file into twilight menu through my r4 card on my ds lite. is there any way to actually load onto that save file without twilight menu automatically creating a fresh save when i boot the game?

Make sure the save is named exactly like the rom (apart from the file extension).

Also, to add to that, if you put the save in the same folder as the rom (as per chatgbt), you have to set the save location to "ROM folder*" in nds-bootstrap settings section in the twighlight menus settings. You can change it back to " 'saves' folder", and putting the save file back in the saves folder, once you checked the rom loads the save.
