Hi there, I ordered a Wii for cheap only to realize it was Japanese upon delivery. I was wondering if there was any way to trick it into believing it is an NTSC-U Wii.

I would appreciate your guidance.

Install Priiloader, go to Menu Hacks and enable:
FREE EVERYTHING

And you'll be able to use NTSC-U/E/K channels.

About things like language... I'm not sure if Priuloader might contain a Menu Hack to change it to English... but you might solve that by wiping out the Syatem Menu and installing an American Menu
Don't quote me on that, just saying it might work, not that it will or you should.

Thank you, so essentially, that would make it work with discs and homebrew at all times? Mostly using it for P+.

Anyways thanks, and English language was already part of the normal menu, so it was easy to change.

Pretty much, yep.

In order to install PriiLoader, go to wiiguide, and download it.
If you already have PriiLoader installed, just get the hacks.ini file in the Priiloader folder within apps folder.

How do you know if you have Priiloader?
Hold RESET button while turning on your console, it should go to PriiLoader.

Thanks, So I guess that 10$ Wii was a bargain after all, lol
