The old version was useless, but anyway I am thankfully. I was testing a lot from the old version. The new version is maybe faster but still unplayable. So still waiting. Code Veronica show ups a not so bad framerate. It would be better to port sega saturn emulator first and later sega dreamcast and see the results. We also need a update for the N64 emulator, its a good port but many games are not working.

Must I delete first the old version from flycast ? Or can I just over install it with the new version ?

Result : The game starts fine, tested only first map and there was no texture errors. But unplayable because framerate to slow.

Release : July JAP - p2p shit
Format : GDI (convert GDI to cue bin track files from uploader)

Result : My Gosh, the game will start and I had play the first 5 minutes, there was no texture errors ! The framerate is to slow and is unplayable like the others. But compare to other test titles, I would say it has 15fps, this is great and more like the others. The gameplay is smooth, only framerate problem. Ingame videos also works great. This is the best test copy I had found so far.

Release : Soldier of Fortune US - ECHELON

Format : GDI
Result : The same as the CDI version. GDI image works !

Release : Mortal Kombat Gold US ReRelease - DCCM

Result : The game will start, videos will work but slowly. Option menu and gameplay works. There are many texture errors. Music will also work. Framerate is very slow. Unplayable.

Release : ECCO the Dolphin Defender of the Future US - RDC
Format : CDI
Result : The option menu will work and the intro video will work, the game for self will crash. It was possible to make a save profile. The intro video is ingame, there was very small texture errors.

thanks SuperDan

So far this test list was made on the old version. I am big fan of Dreamcast and I have 2 original consoles with a lot of original games, but would be great to play it on the vita TV system. I had not find time to test D2 or The Ring, 7th Mansion aka Nanatsu no Hikan and a lot of other great games. Anyway I had found out that Zombie Revenge was mostly best working with this emulator for testing. And GDI also works so we are able to play BETA prototype copys. But truly we also need Sega Saturn emulation.
Say thanks to Rinne, love his work and hope for more, he should come to this forums, want to ask him for Unreal PC port and pay him some money when he wants.

Yeah, Dreamcast was also my first homebrew console, just burn a CDrom haha. Was also playing a lot of SNES emulation on it, even when framerate was slow. Also porting myself Doom, was easy language. But this is over 20 years ago. Now my knowledge for porting is zero. PSX was possible with Bleemcast, but most games was not working. But the texture quality was great from Bleemcast, it was like 3dfx mode for PC Bleem. Mortal Kombat Special Forces was running good with Bleem and Cardinal Sin, the water effects was orgasm. Original Bleem was created for Metal Gear Solid PSX. And yes it was possible to watch avi divx or xvid movies on Dreamcast, but only in very low bitrate and resolution, there was a VCD player but the framerate was out of sync. Was working more with Dreamcast instead of using my PC.

@ PacBunny :

I need Unreal 1 PC port and SIN PC port, do something stupid, so I get it. Can not imagine myself doing it. Need more drugs or so.

Beamcast! That what it was called! Also yeah your correct not VOD movies VCD.. They was kinda crappy lol.. But I was pleased to be able to watch movies on my DC... Alas I never did play anything online... Nor did I use or even knew what a HDMI cable was...... I used to buy games & movies from my local market... I think it was 6 games for $20..... & the amount of time & pure sheer wow factor of shenmue 1 & 2.. I lost weeks to those two... & my brother & uncle got quite obsessed with a Army game called Hidden & Dangerous... Played it non stop on even the hard levels.... I'd. Love to go through that again on Vita one day.... As for me I just loved

I bought Redream on PC & Android just to play it again a few years ago

Watching movies on Dreamcast was great, DVD was not on the market to this time or PS2, VHS player was still popular. I had show my friends porn movies on Dreamcast, my gosh this was the future. Yeah I remember Hidden & Dangerous, but all Dreamcast versions in europe PAL was censored, so not easy to find a USA NTSC copy. There was also the game Maken X, it has swastika and symbols from wwii, but only in Japan version, lucky I have the copy. Play online was not making any sense, the Dreamcast was so fast dead. But this online tool was the key to make your own backups and upload it to the internet. Unreal Tournament the same, only US copy was online, but not any PAL copy and Japan was not released. I also have some white label original GDroms in my collection beta prototypes. Half Life Blue Shift is a other story, was playing it a lot the original canceled prototype. Endless storys, loved. Anyway, I want to know what is working better, Dreamcast on Vita or Sega Saturn on Vita ? Saturn was also heavy emulation, but great console. Shenmue 1 & 2 is the only one I had never played and it has many fans around the world and say its great game.

You should definitely try Shenmue oneday... It's very time consuming... & quite addictive.. Just forget about Shenmue 3.. After endless years of waiting... I hated it lol
