hi guys, don't know if this is the right place to ask this. I can't launch Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak. I had the base game of rise (digital) from release and it was working fine before. But now I updated to 10.0.3 the game won't launch anymore (getting the error launching software and back to menu prompt). I have already tried the following:
- sigpatches are updated
- most updated Atmos (1.3.2) and switch firmware (14.1.2)
- tried both removing all DLC and just launch base game + update, and also having all DLCs installed.
- I've tried both completely removing the contents folder for the game to make sure there's no offline DLC unlocker present, as well as having the most recent one.
- Tried installing the 10.0.3 update through various installer DBI, awoo, tinfoil, goldleaf (I'm banned so I cannot download official update).
Anyone else experienced this? What could be something else that is causing this issue?

have you tried the Maintenance Mode hack?

If you are on V1 do steps 1 and 2 (but not 3) and then reboot.

thank you! Haven't tried this and will give it a go. Do I need to turn off auto-RCM first since I wouldn't really be able to turn off the Switch unless I do that?
As long as you still have a jig to get back, yes, go ahead and turn it off. Won’t hurt. You can turn it back on afterwards.

e: if This doesn’t work we can try deleting the app using Systems Settings -> Data Management. Be sure to delete you game saves while you’re there as well (maybe corrupt and causing the game to crash on load?)

sadly that didn't work. I've already deleted the app each time it failed to launch and just reinstalled it, but I've never thought about deleting the save because I have 200 hours on it lol T_T
Welp guess there's no point in keeping it if I can't play the game.

edit:
Nope...deleted the save and still the same thing (backed it up with JKSV though).
Sigh lol I think I'm just cursed not being able to play Sunbreak. I think I will just play the Steam version instead lol. Thanks for all your help binkinator, always so eager to help, really appreciate having you here bro!

Backup your save and try a different person dump if you are relying from one source.

Down but not out..just yet.

There are two sources of Sigpatches….let’s try a swap (whichever set you’re not running right now…do the other one)

Sigpatches (GBATemp) — alternative Sigpatches for when others just don’t seem to work.
Sigpatchesget your iTotalJustice Sigpatches here (with free instructions!)

I need an advice from you guys,i currently own an OLED that i love but i dunno if it is hackable or not and if it will require to solder or not,but i might be able to buy from a local store a switch bundle with splatoon 2,the one from 2017 still new for a lower price, what do you think,it is worth it? To keep an oled and a v1 modded?

All Switches are hackable. V1s can use RCM. The rest are hackable by soldering a mod chip. I would buy the V1 for hacking offline and leave my OLED alone for legit Online play.

Yeah but i love that screen so much,i use it almost portable all the time so you know the difference xDStill no way for the V1 to stay always hacked without the use of an RCM? btw i do not think that someone in my area can sell me this modchip and even solder it since i can't do it myself :( is it buyable online?

Your options are version 1 unpatched via RCM method, patched unit 4.1.0 via Caffeine, and modchip for V1 patched above 4.1.0 , V2, OLED

You could install a Trinket M0 and give the appearance of always hacked (via automation Of the RCM process) but it requires soldering as well.

Trinket M0 Hardware — The @mattytrog Bible for installing the Trinket M0
Trinket M0 Software — The @mattytrog encyclopedia of Trinket M0 software (source here https://github.com/mattytrog/FUSEE_SUITE)

HWFLY chips are available for ~$100 on Aliexpress. You will need to find someone local to solder it in for you. Most phone repair shops should be able to do it.
V1 unpatched for RCM, V1 Patched would need modchip
Absolutely correct! I over-generalized in error. Mea culpe!

Hello,

Is there a text tutorial on how to setup and use cheats in Atmosphere? It seems Tesla would be my starting point.

Thank you,

Mythrandir

Edizon is the place to start and Tesla Menu (with Edizon overlay) is a good tool to help control your cheats.

Install Tesla-Menu and Edizon-SE with nx-ovlloader

Here is a write up to get it installed (Note I linked to the TomVita versions of the software…READ the Wiki for TomVita and WerWolv versions…lots of good info in there)

I'm using Edizon so I can only tell you how that works. You can download it here. Extract the contents to the root of your SD card. And all you need to do is to download the cheat file inside the corresponding game folder (usually the save file you download comes inside those folders and you only need to drop them under contents folder in your atmosphere folder.

I never used Tesla so I don't know what it does but with Edizon alone I can use cheats for all the games I currently have just by going into the app when the game is running, and select "cheat" at the bottom, and it will show you the contents of the cheat file you downloaded and put inside the game title folder.

The only way to check to see if your console is unpatched or not is by trying to hack it. The other method is only a guestimation which you alreay tried which is checking the serial number.
got my jig and the program - v TegraRcmGUI_v2.6_portable & biskeydumpv9 - after its ran the program
can i just unplug the switch From the pc and power it on as normal to use it again ? ps if its not patched what is the most up to date
guide to get jailbreak atmosphere up and running

Thank you very much! I wasn't sure where to start. That set me straight. I will get to reading.

Thank you! I wasn't quite sure where to start. It seems that EdiZon serves as the trainer, while Tesla serves as a modular overlay menu. I will need to start familiarizing myself with EdiZon, then move onto Tesla.

How do you mean it won't take up the space on SD card if that IS the SD cards memory?
Can you be more specific please?
When using emuMMC, the space on your SD card is split into 2 parts. The allocated space is for your emuMMC partition and the unallocated space is the remaining space that wasn't used for the emuMMC partition. Since emuMMC is meant to be a clone of sysMMC, that also means we have to clone the internal memory of the sysMMC. There are 2 ways of achieving this; either file or partition-based emuMMC. File-based emuMMC has the internal memory of the emuMMC be treated as a singular file whereas partition-based emuMMC allocates part of your SD card's storage as a partition to be treated as internal memory. Since this space is already taken up by the partition, installing content to the internal memory of the emuMMC won't take up more space. And you can always check how much internal memory is left by booting into emuMMC and going into Data Management.

Yes, you can just turn the console off to use it like normal. As for the best guide, I always recommend this one as it was not only the first guide to ever be released but it has also been regularly updated as the scene progressed.
