Good idea to backup the contents on the card and test the card empty that would tell you if the card is legit or not, if you did tested it before you can format it to FAT32 as suggested.

Probably very stupid question but how can i test it? is there some app or tool for that?

On windows user h2testw, mac use f3xswift. Backup your data before testing as it will wipe the card.

Problem is, i bought it from the same place i usually get my cards ( like one for my phone and other devices) and from the same brand ( which is SanDisk Pro Line).

So yeah, that's why i'm asking if i should be looking for anything specific.
I don't have enough cash to throw out brand new SD card after half a year of use . Especially 1TB one

Buy from Amazon and only SanDisk originals imo, I just grabbed a 256GB for 25€ in a sale. My previous 200GB SanDisk was used 3 years before it died now, so yeah if it's legit it won't die every half a year as you said, the 1TB one was most likely a fake brand.

Well, I always use Amazon to get all my SD cards. I bought a 512 GB SD card that is still working to this day. Forgot how much I paid for it.

Assuming the first letter is X, XAJ465 doesn't exist. If you meant XAJ400465, that indicates that it might not be patched. In fact, its very close to the cutoff for unpatched units so there is a better chance it isn't patched.

Don't get me wrong but not being able to play on release is your smallest problem you know?
Chillax and focus on getting a new card, checking it for being legit and then set it up properly with FAT32 and necessary stuff to be able to play the game whenever all is done, but with a clean conscience instead of having to worry that the SD might die any minute while playing.

I don't remember now but from what i remember, price seemed right and was the same in every other store i checked before i bought it in my usual place.

If it'll be verified as a waste, i'll probably get a new one with the same capacity but probably with longer warranty or something

Maybe that database is incorrect,

two tools and a spreadsheet says it is patched. But for him he should push a payload to test it

Well, serial number is only an estimation not the conclusion so what are you waiting for? Hurry up and go test to see if its patched or not. You have nothing to lose anyway.

The only way to check to see if your console is unpatched or not is by trying to hack it. The other method is only a guestimation which you alreay tried which is checking the serial number.
