New teaser trailer for 'Cyberpunk: Edgerunners' anime released; airs this September

First announced in 2020, we finally have a new details about Cyberpunk: Edgerunners, the standalone anime set in the same universe as Cyberpunk 2077 developed in partnership with Netflix, Studio Trigger and CD Projekt Red. Netflix aired an official teaser today of the upcoming anime as part of its Geeked Week event:



Cyberpunk: Edgerunners tells a standalone, 10-episode story about a street kid trying to survive in a technology- and body-modification-obsessed city of the future. Having everything to lose, he chooses to stay alive by becoming an edgerunner — a mercenary outlaw also known as a cyberpunk.

The streaming giant also shared the first part of a series of behind the scenes videos which includes commentary by CD PROJEKT RED staff involved in the project, first-look stills and concept art:



In addition to the videos, Netflix also provided details regarding when the 10-episode series will air: September 2022.

excited. I love cyberpunk lore.
Also I'm a lucky bastard b/c I had no issues whilst playing the game so.. I can't relate to a lot of y'all haha

The obviously planned out a swatch of media for this IP, but they've severely damaged it's image, potentially beyond repair.

Is anyone still interested in this game?

I was one of the few who actually liked it on release, but have since gone off it, the city is pretty poor in my opinion.

They created what us arguably the best dlc made, for Witcher 3, but I'm struggling to think how they could improve this city to the point it's enjoyable.
