scorpion, just felt really unearned, especially since d'vorah is a bitch ass cunt who is overrated as a character

It is fiction so emotions over such things is a silly idea.

End of Six Feet Under though was pretty poignant though.

It probably won't hit you the same as, to take an extreme example, the death of a loved one, but I can't say getting emotional for fiction that just pushes your specific button(s) is a silly concept. It's likely yours are just a bit more esoteric, and that's not that uncommon if we consider the extremely formulaic, factory line-esque state of mainstream narratives.

All things considered, we're probably in the same boat as far as responding to this type thing, i.e. it's hard for me to care at all, and if I do it's all on an intellectual level, but something like, say, the death in The Cranes Are Flying comes close for me.

What death of a fictional character made you the most emotional?
In the context of video games, i would say it was John Marston from Red Dead Redemption. I wouldn't say anything regarding the story so i wouldn't spoil anything for folks reading this who didn't play the game.
Think we might need a spoilers prefix for threads like this.
100% agreed!

Posts on this thread need to have the spoiler stuff hidden. Either it is a movie, TV Show, anime, video games etc. wouldn't wanna ruin it for people..
Well, apart from Kenny of course..
