Thank you Anderxale for the advice. It's the reason why I've signed up for gbatemp. Now it's time to check out if we have anything for PS3's 4.89.
OH crap I had it all wrong!...I wish - it's not as easy as it used to be yesterday.
The FinalHE copies the wrong HEncore over. So the HEncore2 needs to be manually licensed and CMSed over again.
I bet FinalHE will be forked or fixed very soon and it will be easy again.
I recommend Spoofing to 3.74.. There really isn't many games online on vita these days.. Netflix will still work & I'm sure you can still go online without worrying I just think it's curious that both the Ps3 & Vita got updates on the same day...I have a PS Vita fw 3.73 I installed henkaku but didn’t get time to look into downgrading but I plan on doing so eventually, however I still play on my PS Vita quite often, do you recommend I do the update or not?
They all install regular HENkaku.I'm on 3.60 with henkaku and even after setting the spoofed version to 3.74, I can't connect to the PSN.
It asks for the verification code but even when I enter the Google Auth code, it doesn't accept it. This method is working fine when I log into my pan through browser, app and PS5.
Is there a reason to keep using henkaku instead of moving to h-encore2?
Actually you had it all right! A fix has been recommended this entire time.OH crap I had it all wrong!...
Thanks, it worked! They all install regular HENkaku.
Henkaku is accessible from the web browser henkaku.xyz on Vita fw 3.60
HEncore was for 3.61 and higher but now...
HEncore2 can be used for 3.65-3.74.
To connect with PSN:
Install iTLS Enso
On a computer or phone
Go to https://www.playstation.com/ and log into your PSN (top right) and set up 2 factor authentication.
On a computer or phone
Go to https://playstation.com/acct/device-password and create a device password for each PS device.
Log in on your Vita - use your email and the new Device Password.
I don't play online - supposedly playing online is different right now (friends appear offline maybe? I don't play online to test).
Just follow vita.hacks.guideOut of the loop in regards to modding but does that mean if you grab a 3.60 FW device you can't install the old version of Enso without upgrading first? IIRC 3.65FW didn't support as well as 3.60FW or there were some other issues?
Haven't looked into it for ages nor have I upgraded my old Enso mod because it all works but was thinking of buying another Vita. Looked at the tutorial and workflow is totally different now with apps like h-encore I'd never heard of or used plus mentions of semi permanent etc..
Im the same its mostly Offline .. still though i had some fun times waaay back in the day when Killzone was new ... NFS was good online tooIn a strange way Sony still remembers Vita exists. So much potential, so much wasted.
I'm on 3.60 CFW and don't bother connecting to the internet. I just prefer to play offline.

Hello! How to manually license CMSed ?
@Anderxale has downgraded successfully from 3.74.Now that the update has been out for a while, I haven’t updated myself, still on fw 3.73 with henkaku installed, system wifi is set to offline...
Is it safe to update? What are the downsides? I don’t play online games and I don’t have any pirated games, but I do plan on downgrading to fw 3.60 sometime for the homebrew stuff especially sd2vita and adrenaline, any advice on wither I shall update to fw 3.74 or not? Thanks
All the normal tools are updated and released.@Anderxale has downgraded successfully from 3.74.
yeah, i thought of this too. spoofing is the best thing to do safest thing anyway.Nope, just change the spoofed firmware version in henkaku settings.
