Homebrew How to change a Forwarders Directory Path?

Is there any way to just open up a already created forwarder file and change the directory?

maybe through hex editing, but only if the path is the same number of characters. don't know if that works or not though as I've never tried it.

Yes but only if the new path is not longer than the old one (shorter is OK, just make sure to null out any remnants from the old path)

Yes zeros, this is how modmii builds its forwarder dols, years ago I compiled 1 dol with 10 maximum length paths, then nulled them out and used that as a template, then when a user provides a unique path modmii hex edits in the unique path(s) into a copy of the template dol
