Hello! I am currently trying to build a homebrew DS game. I need to add dialogue, but I have no idea how.

I've been searching on Google and found a dialogue system called Woopsi for libnds but apparently it doesn't work on all emulators and I can't find any example of it online.

So the only thing I can do is build my own. But I don't know how or where to start. If someone here has made one that I could use, or could help me make one, then I would be very thankful.
:)

Please use something like Nightfox's lib for libnds, WOOPSI NOT LONGER WORKS.

For dialogue you problably want to get NFlib for text.

Here is a guide for NFlib, it does not have text stuff but i think your brain should be good enough to see the examples and the docs. https://gbatemp.net/threads/ds-programming-for-newbies.322106/
Doesn't NFlib not allow you to run your game on some emulators? Or is the Nitro file system different?
