So on the virtual Wii I have two issues that I'm not sure how to solve.

- I can't boot games from the SD Card Menu as it says "Failed to Launch"

- Is there any known way to restore Splash Screens to the SD Card Menu apps and games?

I'd appreciate the help.

I'd suggest you create an emunand, then you have unlimited space. I think the sd card is limited to finite amount (maybe 15-20), and it has to copy the game to the internal flash every time you load one. patching ios 80 is the only thing I haven't done, and for that reason mostly.

easiest way imo is usb loader gx (under features). then inject the wads (also under features). not very hard to do. :)

Anyway to keep it all on the vWii Menu? Because I don't want to use apps like USB Loader or Wiiflow.

yeah, patching ios 80. you might be able to tell if it's patched with a syscheck, but I'd imagine it's not if you get that kind of error.

Is it safe to patch it if I already patched it and didn't realize? I just want to make sure before I do this.

it's probably either a find and replace hex strings thing, in which case it would likely fail if you try repatching, and that wouldn't harm the system or it's a hex modification to keep the same byte size, in which case, it would repatch the file without knowing it's already patched.

which splash screen? not sure what you're referring to.
On the main Wii menu when you click on a channel and the animation and music plays. That.
On the SD Card Menu it just shows a basic tiny image with the name of the application below it.
