orange is maybe patched and tje error you et, the console es patched so, you need a mod-chip. NO OTHER WAY

Either way both will break quickly

But the whole point of a small lipo only having 150-250 cycles before it goes still stands

Because deja vu were already patched? Since erm...8.0.0? Check your Infos man. Means, the dev doesn't hold an exploit on 12.1 (and why 12.1? 13.something is the latest firmware?). Otherwise we wouldn't need a modchip.

You have a plan from nothing. 4.1.0 has a warmboot exploit. But okay. This exploit works technically until firmware 7.0.1.

Doesn't matter now, might as well keep it updated. Your firmware isn't low enough for software hacks, so the only hacking option left is a modchip, and that will work regardless of firmware version.

Jail Break is a term used for apple products, modifying any device could render it on a brick if you mess with the system files. you always need to read COMPLETELY any guide and understand what means any change you make to your system. A FULL NAND BACKUP is always needed.
