To be honest, I don't know how to do that. I was only able to get Hekate loaded that way by following a guide.
When you went to download Atmosphere from its GitHub page, there was another thing you can download called fusee.bin. Its a payload similar to Hekate. Try sending that instead of Hekate; its designed to automatically launch Atmosphere.

Vids are an awful way to transfer instructions. Hard to find good ones and even good ones get out of date. All that said, and gainst my better judgment, here are a couple vids that are kinda close to how I would do it. I highly recommend reading through those wikis I sent earlier to fully understand what you’re actually doing.



 
For whatever reason your switch is not doing something that’s documented by Nintendo and should just work.

just trying to reset everything to a base level. Yiu can leave the jig and we can inject again.
@binkinator ,if i understand correctly you recommend a factory reset and reinstall Atmosphere right?
 
Hi friends,
Yesterday I updated my switch console to version 13.2.1. All my games are running, but when I want to open this game, "Could not start the software." I get an error.
Can you help me please?

@binkinator ,if i understand correctly you recommend a factory reset and reinstall Atmosphere right?

holding down the power button will do a hard power off. We can then power back on and see if that coaxed the Switch into behaving as Nintendo intended and documented. No need to reset to factory.

Atmosphere won’t have anything to do with the wifi sleep behavior so there’s no need to reinstall it.

Yes, I downloaded the files here but I couldn't get rid of this error. Other games are working. I also downloaded and tested the game I was having trouble with from multiple sources. The result has not changed. I formatted the memory card and did a clean install.

Edit: I have installed using DB Installer - Goldleaf - Awoo Installer - Tinfoil

Very curious that other games work w/o issue.

A couple things to try:

1) try booting direct to fusee.bin
2) try reinstalling FW using Daybreak

I own an unpatched V1 switch which is the first device i have ever hesitated to hack due to Nintendo bans.

I have been considering getting a V2 which i would leave stock and then exploiting the V1 i own but what is the score with Nintendo detecting hacked consoles, do they ban you and your console or do they just ban the console?

What i mean is, i would want to have both the untouched V2 and the hacked V1 linked on the same Nintendo account if i were to get a second one.

You get console ban, rare to get an account ban.

in addition to what @Hayato213 said, why put an account on the hacked switch at all? You don’t want to successfully connect to any Nintendo service with a hacked switch. You have no need to go online with your V1 if your V2 can play online without any fear whatsoever. You can use linkahlo on your V1 to trick games that demand you have a linked account if necessary.

My thinking was that game saves applied to the hacked one could then be transferred to the legit console if they were linked.

Its been 1-2 ish years since I've done anything to my switch. I've mainly used it for party games, but I've been meaning to go out and buy Pokemon Arceus so I want to update without breaking anything. I've tried finding guides here but it seems even the forum has changed quite a bit and even the guides have.

My System version is 8.0.0 with Atmosphere 0.9.4. with the AutoRCM auto boot.

A few questions I have are:

How do I update?
Do I still use ChoiDuJourNX for system update with out blowing fuses?
Where do I find system updates to download? (or is it against rules to say)
I've seen new guides reference sysMMC and EmuMMC. How is this different to what we did before? Should I change to this?
Is online play still not a thing or does what I mentioned above help with that?
I plan on buying a hard copy of the game, can I still dump them myself or better to find online? (I see a lot of guides referencing Tinfoil and 'shops,' I always used Goldleaf, is that still a thing?)

And anything else I should I know so I don't break my switch would be helpful.

i want to know about using exosphere and dns.mtm as everyone say 90DNS isnt safe anymore also want to use if you should use incognito mode or just exosphere and dns.mtm is enough , if you have a video thats best or a guide would do too .

90DNS isn’t the devil. You can run both, but yeah…exosphere does it all in one place and does it locally so it doesn’t have the external dependency scenario that people say MIGHT happen with 90DNS some day.


it‘s way easier than you’re thinking (obviously don’t copy the line numbers below)

  • Create the file exosphere.ini in the root of your SD card and paste this inside (this step is needed in order to blank your prodinfo so that you can avoid getting your switch banned):
