Issue with all titles (new and old)

Hello,

I installed Atmosphere in emuEMMC on my Switch, updated to the latest firmware version with Daybreak. Everything went well.

It turns out though that the WiFi did connect at some point and now I'm left with all the installed games asking me to update or start as is every time I start.

They work fine but every time I get this damn message.

I tried to install a new title never installed: same result. It offers to update or start as is...
I tried to reset the version via Goldleaf but it does not change anything.

Do you have any idea what to do please?

As far as I know the latest updates of games is stored inside the firmware. So the switch wouldn't need Wifi or a connection to Nintendo to know there is an update for your games.

I remember I read somewhere that the game version reset isn't working after s certain firmware update.

You can:

- update your games or

- downgrade your firmware

But I am not 100% sure since I am not following every switch homebrew post. So maybe somebody else has a workaround.

There is no need to go back to a lower firmware. Usually that only makes the mess bigger.

There indeed is some list which says which games need to be updated.

Goldleaf and Tinfoil have some option to reset the launch version.

Just update your games. HBG's various clones should have the latest versions.

What do you mean by « new title never installed » ? A recent game ?
I think that games check the firmware and just know that when you are on a certain firmware, it needs to update, so even if you haven't been connected to the Internet, you will have the prompt.
So the best solution you have imho is to update the games. If you really don't want to use incognito and/or 90DNS (or something else, idk) to connect your Switch, then you could use a homebrew that checks if your apps need update (NX Update Checker), iirc it needs a txt file or something that you'll get on your PC and the app will use that to verify your apps so you don't have to connect your Switch to the internet, then you can grab the updates wherever you want
