Hi everyone,

I've updated to the latest firmware 13.2 on my atmosphere emuMMC.
I'm trying to install games in xci format which were previously working on my sxos setup with no luck.

Each time i'm installing games i get checksum validation warnings and the game seems to be corrupted / can't be launched !
I tried multiple games.
I also tried several installers :
- tinwoo
- dbi
And also from usb and directly from the sd card for one of the games that is small enough.

Am I missing something ?
Should I reinstall to a lower firmware version ?

Wanted to ask if someone knows a person who does switch repairs (my sd reader is dead and this switch I wanna keep cause it has a trinket installed)

First you need to find out if you have a bad flex sd connector or you got a bad fpc connector, if you got a bad flex you can just replace it within a genuine one. As for repair you probably need to find someone that can solder, Nintendo cleared out all the hard modders on the site.

No need to downgrade. You FW version is perfect.

did you install Sigpatches? You can get them from here.

are your XCIs mulipacked (I.e. do they have updates and/or DLC included)

so if i hold my finger on the connector and keep it pressed (lightly ofc) it reads the sd. as soon as i lift my finger it stops to read. i dont have damaged or corrosed pins either

When updating Atmosphere, Hekate, and the firmware (for the first time) from version 10.2.0|AMS 0.14.4|S to play newer games like Arceus, is it possible that some of the other games I currently have installed will fail to work properly, or fail to load? What are the risks of upgrading and the fixes? Thanks!
If you don't update properly, nothing will work including both old & new games. The risks to upgrading is that some homebrew apps may stop working if they are not regularly updated. Of course, upgrading is an inevitability so you will have to choose between parting with your favorite homebrew apps if they haven't been updated in a while or playing the newest releases.

Hi, so today I was updating my atmosphere version on my switch.
I went through the normal procedures, I went to the download site and downloaded the latest version (1.2.6) as well as the latest fusee.bin file. I copied the version files to my SD card and attempted to inject the payload using the fusee.bin file. However, I have an error that says:
Failed to parse sdmc:/atmosphere/config/system_settings.ini!
Tried redownloading the new files and starting over but the same result.
I tried googling the issue but it doesn't seem as if anyone else has this specific problem. Any ideas?
Thank you.

check if you have an old/corrupt system_settings.ini file in your /atmosphere/config/

you can rename it to system_settings.orig to see if that fixes things.

Thanks a lot! Looks like this worked for me.
Good deal!

Typically you don’t need it. It won’t hurt anything to leave it just like it is.

It’s used to change some default behaviors by removing a semicolon in front of each line. Things like turning cheats on/off for example.

You can find a pristine copy under the /atmosphere/config_templates directory should you need To make changes in the future.

Yes I have installed sigpatches (downloaded directly from github)
And yes my games are packed as XCIs. is this an issue ?

I also tried to install on SD Card, maybe I'll give a shot to a Nand install as well

Also I'm sure this has been answered a 1000 times, but I can't get the answer from a simple search.
Is there a safe recommended location to download firmwares ?

How do you make a cheat toggle file?
I had one before somehow.. but after deleting all files to add in a new set of codes, I had issues getting a toggle file to be created.

Can I manually create one if there's an issue?
(what does it need if possible)

For cheats look into installing the Tesla and Edizon SE combo.

An issue that catches some folks out is that cheats are always on globally by default and most the time you don’t want them to be. You can toggle them off by moving the /atmosphere/config_templates/system_settings.ini file to /atmosphere/config/ directory and the uncommenting (remove the leading ; semicolon) the dmnt line and setting the 1 or 0 depending upon what you want.

Try downloading a different game. A fresh .nsp from wherever folks find those things. XCI will work too, but let’s try something different and see if we can get a win.
