I need help
I tried to install an SX Core on my OLED by following stethix video but i have instant red light when i power on the switch
Here is the value that i got from diode mode on the sx core :
B : 2.890
D : 0.587
C : 0.709
A : 0.700
+3.3v : 0.773
CPU PIN 1 : 1.013v
CPU PIN 2 : 0 Short to ground (Is it normal ?)
I checked all soldering and all seem's good, i have also cute the flex part from the modchip since we don't need it for OLED that's can be the problem ?
I also lost the C pad on the modchip since i tried to resolder everything so i soldered it directly to the pin (see picture)

Ok i solve the problem of the red light, i connected the CPU PIN 2 to the wrong pin it's not the same as the lite modchip thanks @mvmiranda

Now my problem is i got a Purple light for ~3sec and it goes off the switch boot fine to horizon but not booting hekate :(

I think the problem is coming from the C Pad for Dat0 that i completely destroy on the modchip :

Like i said before i soldered to the pin on the nand connector but i don' know if this going here...

I got a good reading of ~0.700 on the wire so the problem is not coming from the emmc adaptateur

There is an alternative point on the modchip or i just killed it ? Or maybe it's something else that i'm missing

I just finished installing the hwfly lite into my oled, and I'm getting the a green light but nothing on the screen. Tested with another known working screen, and still doesn't work. I do have the daughterboard connected and an sd card inserted with the HATS pack already copied onto it. Not sure what else to check at this point.

It looks fine to me, but thats the only thing I can think of. Must be damaged some how.
I had an OLED fail on my slowly. From working to no touch screen to no screen. I would suggest using IPA to clean all the solder joint and flux. I suspect the 3.3v area is what causes it.

Which 3.3v point did you use?
Why exactly do you suspect the 3.3v connection to be the reason for the failure?

Thanks!

Hi @Soma146, I will try to install the sc core in the oled, did you finally make it works?

oleds are are "fun" install and really do require patience and time

lite chips are nice to install to them but the specific oled one gets some nice wiring layout

but yeah those clk point and the smd beside it can cause a lieu of issues not to mention lcd connector
