Ok I hate to keep updating on this issue, but it may not be the 00_mocha.rpx file after all. It just seems to be random is ultimately what I'm finding, sometimes it will work many in a row, sometimes it seems to work on every fresh reboot, only for it to then start freezing again. Doesn't matter if the GC injects are stored on USB or NAND, it just seems random, and it's definitely not how it was in CBHC. And we're talking the same game too, it's not like certain games work and certain don't, any given game will work sometimes, and often other times will freeze when loading.
Maybe it was also random when using CBHC you just never noticed. So far none of my custom injects have ever had an issue with Timerasu, not ever my highly unstable custom japanese Metal Slug Collection for the Wii.

No, I promise it wasn't. I launched GameCube games all the time in CBHC to no issue. I love Tiramisu, but something about it is being unfriendly with GC injects, but not so unfriendly that they never work at all.

Didn't you say it hangs on the Nintendont load screen? You should be in the Wii VC environment by then - so what would cause the issue?

Yeah, it's when you get the game loading screen of Nintendont, whatever that may be set to (mine are set to custom images per game).

Oh, you mean the channel's splash screen. Not Nintendont's actual loading screen. That makes more sense.

@GaryOderNichts , there's a bug with bloopair and dual sense controllers. I just paired my purple controller to the system, and I get a lot of "low battery" warnings. the battery is fully charged too. I didn't get this on the ps5. and, the power indicator on the wiiu jumps from almost no battery, to one bar, two, three, full charged. it also randomly shows the charging icon when you plug it in. something is very wrong here, and it makes playing with a dual sense almost impossible.

Not the Wii U channel's splash screen, it gets past that one just fine. It's once you're in the vWii, and you get a flash of the game loading screen (you can have this set to no image at all, but I prefer the image personally) before the GameCube boot logo comes up.

Edit: Here's what it looks like when it freezes:

But sometimes that image that hangs at the end, disappears quickly and then you get to the GameCube boot up screen and it's all good as you can see in the video below (and sometimes very rarely it progresses and you get sound but no video).

no offense to the hard work that's been put into this, but a lot of things seem to be unstable. what works for one person, doesn't for another and so forth.

Yeah I know, I'm just clarifying for the other person, I'm gonna get some video to illustrate what's happening

I've been booting up gamecube injects back to back for like half an hour now and i see zero issues.

Yes it would seem that Tiramisu does not play equally with everyone. Others have an issue whenever they booth from the QuickStart menu where they always receive a message saying the USB device was uplugged, it's a known issue for some people, but that one doesn't affect me. I fear this is a similar issue and I'm sadly a victim of it.

if results are different for different people then it might not be Tiramisu but people's own set ups. My GC injects lacks any sort of custom images before booting up my games because why would i need that? it serves no purpose at all.

@GaryOderNichts himself said the USB message is a known issue for some people but not everyone. I can't fathom the Nintendont boot images are the issue, they never were before.

Yeah like i said it might be an issue with people's own specific set ups, not everyone has the same HDD for their Wii Us heck some might not even use HDDs at all.

Regardless, this wasn't an issue for me before Tiramisu, and it is now. And even if it does have something to do with the boot images, they weren't a problem for CBHC so I dunno, I just feel it's worth noting. I'll try and go with no boot images (though I'm pretty sure I tested that earlier to no avail, but I could be wrong) and see if that helps, but even if it does, it's at least interesting to note that something is happening here.

Edit: Nope, the existence or not of the boot images does not make a difference, even tried a version of Nintendont from before boot images were even available to the same results.
